Advantages: Full Of Energy Disadvantages: Quite Expensive
was not particularly strong but I suppose that it is sold as an energy drink after all, so flavourings and taste are presumably secondary to performance in the eyes of the research people at Glaxo-Smithkline.
The one million dollar question however is did it give it that extra boost that it promised, well to be honest it did. I do a fair bit of long distance running (marathons and half marathons) and have always carried a bottle of water with me as over such a long time and distance it is very important not to de-hydrate, as an experiment I decided to take a bottle of LucozadeSport with me and as soon as I had a drink of the stuff I suddenly felt invigorated, I could feel the rush of adrenaline go through my body. I am not sure however if this was just a psychological boost however, a case of my mind believing all of the hype or whether ...

Advantages: Nice Taste, Helps your thirst Disadvantages: Bit sweet for some, no added energy
LucozadeSport is a still isotonic drink which comes in four flavours being Orange, Mixed Berry, Lemon and Grapefruit. For the purpose of my review the flavour i tested was Orange. The makers of LucozadeSport are Glaxo Smithkline with the claim being that the drink aids energy loss and dehydration to help you get an edge in your sport. The boost is meant to come from the carbohydrate, fluid and electrolytes provided to replace what you are using during exercise.
PACKAGING
The 500ml bottle is a simple design being a clear plastic bottle with a label which difers slightly depending on flavour. It is designed to be easy to hold during exercise which works for me. It has a sports cap to make it easier to drink on the move.
TASTE
The orange lucozadesport is a very strong flavour and is extremely sweet. I find this ...

Advantages: Everything you could need from a sports drink, great for driving as well! Disadvantages: none!
LucozadeSport was first launched in the UK in 1993 by the then company SmithKline Beecham - now GlaxoSmithKline. It was promoted with that classic advert with John Barnes in a locker room drinking the stuff from a can then dropping it, and kicking it into the bin - an advertising classic! Since then the brand has grown to become the UK's number one sports drink and the 5th biggest soft drink in the UK impulse market!! Quite an acheivement from a brand that until the early 90's didn't exist and evolved from the main brand LucozadeEnergy.
The Flavours - LucozadeSport now comes in the following flavours (following some flavour changes this year)
1. Orange
2. Raspberry 4. Mixed Citrus
3. Tropical, 5. Lemon
So what is new - LucozadeSport With Caffeine Boost!!!!
This was launched on 4th June 2007 in the UK market. Its ...
