I am going to give it a go again next year, but start it sooner, as soon as winter starts. I didn`t begin until the end of November as that is my Birthday, I had to have something to spend my Birthday money on.
I didn`t feel as bad last year but I was working more nights. The thing about working nights is, you are deprived of sleep, you sleep during the day but not for as long as at night. The good thing is though, you receive natural sunlight. It may not be as bright, but it is better that experiencing only dark.
If I work a 12 hour day, I try to get out for a walk at lunchtime and try to exercise and spend time outside on my days off.
