Advantages Good Name, Makes Skin feel Awesome
Disadvantages Looks Bad, Almonds and Eyes Do Not Mix, Pricing
I don't know how many other guys out there use this stuff but more of them should because it's great! I started using this weird almondy paste around a year ago and without getting too graphic, it's become a staple in my daily shower routine. When you open it up you would be forgiven if you thought it was what happens when you put a frog in a blender. It's not that, so what is it?
Well above I called it a paste and that's basically the best way to describe it. It's got almond shells and I'm pretty sure seaweed bits in (correct me guys/gals) if I'm wrong and ..... it looks terrible. Looking at the picture Ciao has put up of it, it looks like an awful green mess that you'd find on the street, step in and let it ruin your day. Thankfully it's made of all good natural things and you can put it on your face.Once you've made peace with the fact that it looks bad you'll realise it's just crushed up exfoliating almonds which are scented with lavender. All you do is get a little bit on your wet hand, rub it around into a watery paste and then rub your face with it. BOOM you've got a smooth face and everyone loves a smooth face. You've seen the Lynx adverts? Well if Lush made adverts then they would have females swooning over some guys smooth, lavender scented face after he's used angels on bare skin.
I usually find that after shaving, this works OK but it will sting a little due to the scrubby nature. I usually hold fire and then use it in the evening if I've had to have a serious morning shave. If you're a careful and skilled shaver though and don't often get shaving rash and cuts like I do then you'll probably be alright.
This isn't the complete skin solution, although it's a good start. If you want to have a face of a chiseled greek god then you will need to use this bad boy everyday and then twice a week switch to a more heavy duty exfoliant to hammer off that man skin that you get from chopping logs and other manly things that we do. DO NOT forget to moisturise too after a good old scrubbing.
In terms on quantity, you can get either 100g or 200g. I usually go for 100g due to the insane prices that Lush have and I can't justify spending nearly £10 on one little face scrub. I find that 100g will last around 3 weeks since you only need a little bit with each wash.
