I love Lush soaps, my favourtite being Karma.

However I am not going to go on an on about the wonderful aroma and feel good factor of Lush Karma soap as this is supposed to be a review of Lush Aromarant Deodorant.

My hubby bought me this 100g block of Lush Aromarant for my birthday and as it comes wrapped in paper the name was a bit obscure so I just assumed it was another of Lush's wonderful soaps in a different scent.

I opened it up and it smelled really nice. I really couldn't put my fingert on the fragrance. I felt it was a kind of vanilla scent but according to the ingredients it contains.............................

Propylene Glycol, Fresh Lemons (Citrus limonum), Sodium Stearate, Cleavers Infusion (Galium aparine), Witch Hazel Infusion (Hamamelis virginiana), Oakbark Infusion (Quercus robur), Sodium Bicarbonate, Perfume, Sandalwood Oil (Santalum album), *Limonene.
* Occurs naturally in essential oils

I couldn't wait to try it and put it on my washhand basin and proceeded to wash my hands with it. I thought to myself, there's not much lather from this soap and as I had used my Karma soap before, I just thought, it must be one of these latherless soaps lol.

I decided to look up the Lush website. ........................

http://www.lush.co.uk/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=77

and you can imagine how stupid I felt when I discovered it wasn't a soap at all but a deodorant.

Now there is no instructions on the Lush website as how to use it. Do you wet it first? Do you just rub it on? or do you hope that when you come out of your shower your armpits are sweaty enough to melt the deodorant bar.

I really can't recommend this deodorant as it's difficult to apply. I find if I dampen it first it goes on better but that's only my opinion.

It's the first time I have been disappointed with a Lush product as I have used their bubble bath bars and I am absolutely in love with their Karma soap bars.

If you decide to buy it, don't be like me and wash your hands with it. It's meant for under your armpits lol.
