If you haven't heard of Lush, they're a company who've been making us these beautiful treats for 10 whole years now! So where have you been? Their products are handmade, suitable for vegetarians (and more often than not for vegans too) and they have stores located all over ... ...ballistic, one of the products Lush is most reknowned for. It's perhaps one of the most plain looking bath ballistics, and it's also one of the smallest, but you know what they say - all the best things come in small packages.
You'll find all the bath ballistics together in your local Lush shop (if of course that's where you're buying it from) and it's just a case of choosing one, putting it in a Lush bag and taking it to the counter where a sticker, ...

...fortune on. But, my favourite Lush product is the coco butterball bath ballistic (try saying that without your teeth in!) And here's why….
***Tell me all about this Lush then***
Lush originated in the late 70's when in 1978 the team sold its first product to the Body Shop. In 1988 Cosmetics to Go was launched in Poole, Dorset, where Bath Bombs, Shampoo Bars and Massage Bars were invented. However, it wasn't until 1994 after Cosmetics to Go went ... ...Japan. The great thing about Lush is that they handmake their cosmetics in their own production facilities, so that every product available in the shops or sent by mail is as fresh as it can possibly be. It is also great to say that Lush is also very strongly against animal testing, which so few cosmetic companies are.
*** Why is this bath ballistic so good? ***
Lush produce a number of bath ballistics (otherwise known as bath bombs) that vary ...

Advantages: Incredibly moisturising, subtle aromas, nice compact size Disadvantages: need a small mortgage to pay for them, an ugly tidemark left behind
...if I’d ever shopped in Lush before, I would have answered them in the form of a blank expression on my face. Today, however this has all changed and if the same question was to be asked, I would break out in a cold sweat and my mouth would start salivating in delight at the thought of getting to flex my credit card in our local store. I was first introduced to Lush just last year by a good friend of mine, I now blame her for my addiction to this ... ...first experience in the Aberdeen Lush Store is one I’ll never forget. I was like a kid in a sweetshop, so much to see, so little time and far too little money to satisfy any addiction that would come as a result of shopping here. On display is a vast array of bath and beauty products like nothing I’ve seen before (I’m not often lost for words, but that day I couldn’t pick my jaw off the floor for ages). I didn’t have a clue where to start. Luckily ...

Advantages: Great moisturising effect, if a little 'gunky' Disadvantages: Disappointing smell, greasy tidemark in the bath, pricy for one use
...pretty much everyone knows about Lush by now, but just in case: it’s a shop that sells smelly stuff and you’re probably going to start sneezing just from walking past and lose the ability to breath if you venture in. Don’t worry – after a few minutes you will get used to the overwhelming mix of scents and probably won’t pass out. Probably. Just to be on the safe side, there is also a web site – Lush.co.uk – where you can order products without fear ... ...few Lush stores across the country.
Once you have either found and braved a store or logged on, you will find a range of naturally based, hand made products free from animal testing. The range includes soaps, creams for various bits of you, dusting powder (no, not talc!), massage bars and stuff for the bath.
The latter generally falls into two categories: the more famous ‘bath ballistic’, and bubble bar slices. Today I wish to talk about one of ...

...a change, I’d write a Lush op. I haven’t written one in about – ohhh – 2 days? And I’m sure you’ll all missing them loads!
Butterball from Lush is one of their wide range of now infamous bath ballistics. A bath ballistic is basically a bath bomb – a big alka seltzer that you drop into the bath supposedly turning your bath into a “fizzing, fragrant, fabulous occasion.” I’ve used a new bath ... ...killed by all the diehard Lush fans here on Ciao if I didn’t buy at least one on my Lush trip!
Looking through the Lush Times (the Lush catalogue), I found Butterball. The blurb was literally calling out my name. “Imagine a healthy, happy, giggly, good natured kid who bounces around the place having fun.” Now, I suppose technically I’m not a kid, and I’m not massively healthy today (too many G+T’s last night), ...
