For anyone who has never heard of Lush, Lush are the company who you can smell before you see them - and no I'm not joking! Next time your shopping in the high street and you smell a gorgeous (maybe over powering) smell, follow your nose and see if it leads you straight into the Lush store.

Lush are a company who make all their own products using fresh fruit, vegetables, oils and as little preservatives as possible. Best off all their products are not tested on our furry little friends.

You will find most Lush shops on the high street or in major towns, failing that you can find them on the internet. Lush sell their products worldwide and have stores all over the world. This can be an advantage because in America they had products I've never heard off - the downside they were nearly doubled in price…. It would have been great if I could have used my 10% discount voucher but unfortunately it is only valid in the UK.

Lush items are for all types of customers, young and old, male or female. The items they sell are shampoo's, conditioners, body butters, bath bombs, soaps, facial products, body products and many more exciting beauty products.

 HOW TO USE & DOES IT WORK? 

Using the deodorant powder is like using talcum powder, sprinkle on to your body or on your hands and pat yourself down. Use as much or as little as you please. The one thing I must stress - this smells so good you will want to eat it! Please don't because it doesn't taste very nice.

 SMELL - COLOUR 

A white fine silky powder that makes your skin feel very soft.

The smell is a sweet powdery coconut smell, I can smell almond too but there is no mention of this on the ingredients.

If you hate the smell of coconut - do not buy this.

 ALLERGY SUFFERERS 

None known - however the Lush staff are very helpful and allow you to sample and test their products before making a purchase.

ADVANTAGES

The products I have used the ingredients have mainly been made with fresh fruit, vegetables (Organic I think) and oils.

Lush do not test their products on animals but test on humans instead.

Lush are doing more and more each day to reduce the carbon footprint by using as many recyclable materials as possible.

To encourage customers - some products purchased in round little plastic pots can be returned to them, for example return 5 empty black pots and you get yourself a free pot of the product you want. This can be a great money saver especially if the item you want is around £6.00.

DISADVANTAGES

I find using this powder under your armpits (and yes I shave them) I tend to sweat more (normally I do not sweat at all) so personally I think using the powder under your arms causes your pores to 'block up' - has anyone else experienced this problem?

Depending on your budget Lush can be quite expensive however I find their products seem to last for ages so in comparison they are certainly worth purchasing.

Cornstarch (Zea mays) , Tapioca Flour , Magnesium Carbonate , Perfume , Coconut Milk Powdered (Cocos nucifera) , Coconut Oil (Cocos nucifera) , Coconut Cream Grated (Cocos nucifera) , Desiccated Coconut (Cocos nucifera) , Benzoin Resinoid (Styrax benzoin) , Vetivert Oil (Vetiveria zizanoides)

 PACKAGING 

As with all Lush packaging most of their products come in black with their Lush logo attached to the front complete with white writing of ingredients and what the product is.

I quite like the little yellow stickers on underneath telling you who has made your product and the date it was made - I think this adds that personal touch.

Made from sturdy cardboard and plastic top and bottom so it can all be recycled once finished with.

 PRICE & AVAILABILITY 

Availability has never been a problem to me purchasing from the store, Online I'm not sure about as I've never done this.
