Lush Dream Cream

**Why I bought it**
This Lush dream cream was recently purchased from Ebay using my recent cheque from Dooyoo. I purchased it because I love Lush products but can't really afford them! It caught my eye because it mentioned about being suitable for sensitive and flaky skin and about being able to reduce the signs of blemishes which I suffer from and absolutely hate.

**Packaging**
The cream came in a typical Lush pot which is black with the Lush logo on it. It has the ingredients printed on it and the name of the product. I bought the 240g tub and find the pot very cute. I have heard that you can take the pots back to Lush and get a free face mask and if that offer still stands I'd love to do that for a freebie! Or, failing that I could use the pot again easily as it is very sturdy and water tight.

**The cream**
The cream is white and very thick in substance so differs from your average lotion or moisturiser. It smells like subtle flowers in my opinion but at the same time it is slightly perfumed. Overall, the smell is quite pleasant and does linger on the skin when you have used it. The cream promises to calm irritations, reduce redness and banish blotches.

**Personal Experience**
I used this cream as soon as I got it as I was excited and anxious to see the results. Given that the texture was thick I only used a small amount of product and began on my hands and arms. The smell does become more prominent as you spread out the cream. It does not take much rubbing in to get rid of the white colour and it blends in quite quickly. I paid particular attention to my elbows which do get quite dry sometimes. As I've mentioned in other reviews I do suffer from sensitive skin but because Lush products are home made from natural ingredients I never have to worry about irritation to my skin. I applied this cream to my face too as the main reason that I bought this was to reduce redness and blemishes on my face. I applied it to my face before going to sleep and in the morning I was pleased with the results the blemishes and redness did seem reduced but I still had patches of problems but after a few weeks on and off of using the product I was even more impressed with the results and my blemishes were more or less non-existent. I do still use the product before bed but not daily as I may be should do!
