Soho Gets Fruity! Review ofLush Each Peach And Twos A Pearby

Advantages: Hours of fun with a gorgeous lemon scent Disadvantages: Doesn't taste as good as it smells
...I have a wariness of Lush products. Constantly being told I should try them by various female friends brings out my stubborn side and the combined smells wafting from the open doors of any Lush store frequently makes me sneeze. I was a Lush virgin and proud of it.
That all changed recently. The cause of this was my girlfriend turning to me with a cheeky grin on her face and the company newsletter, the Lush Times, in her hand and asking if I realised ... ...Having looked through the Lush Times, we had made our choice. Once in the store, however, our noses were persuaded to make a different decision. So it was that we left with the Each Peach (and Two's a Pear) bar.
Despite the name, there is no sign of either peach or pear in the scent. It has a very lemony smell, reminiscent of the lemon sherbet sweets I used to enjoy as a kid. The look of the bar matches the scent rather than the name as well, being ...

Advantages: Simple and easy to use, very little mess. Disadvantages: It becomes addictive
...birthday I was given a Lush gift box and inside I came across what looked like a bar of soap. I was delighted with the smell but then reading the wee leaflet which came inside the box it turned out to be a massage bar by the name of Each Peach And Twos A Pear. I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how I would manage to use this soap looking bar for a massage or explain to Mr G how it would work either. The instructions were simple, rub the bar ... ...bar in any of the Lush shops or on their website. The one thing about this bar is that the name reminds me of the Allan Alberg book Each Peach, Pear, Plum. On a few occasions when I have used the bar I have found the rhyme going through my head while using it. Definitely worth a try. ...

...a few things from the Lush counter in my time but had never ventured to buy a massage bar until the last time I was in one of their stores.
Picking one of the bars up and inhaling deeply, I was met with the most wonderful smell and quickly decided this was my latest "must have" purchase.
I've read the previous review of this product and I wonder if we have actually used the same thing as my opinion is in total opposition.
Before I go into what ... ...yet to come across a Lush store, though they must be few and far between these days.
It's an oval, palm sized bar, looking very like soap to the uninitiated and is creamy yellowy in colour with a picture of flowers stamped on the top.
It will set you back £3.50 for a 65g bar which will come wrapped in the usual Lush greaseproof papery type wrapping with a little sticker telling you what is inside and a brief note telling you when used, the massage ...

Advantages: Easy to use, not too greasy if rubbed in well, lasts ages. Disadvantages: It is pretty expensive and it does not smell of peach or pear.
The majority of my Lush experiences have been limited to soap, however I reccently decided that having worked my way through a vast number of soaps and spending way too long in the bath because of this, I would try out some other Lush products.
A friend reccomended that I try the massage bars as they were lovely and good fun. She also told me that they were very good for stretchmarks and scars - I thought that was brilliant as I have not long had ... ...huge bag of samples of Lush soaps on ebay reccently I thought I would hve a look for some massage bars on there too, there were a couple listed and the one which instantly caught my eye was Each Peach ( And Twos A Pear ) - it sounded yummy, unfortunatly there was no description, it just said Lush massage bar brand new in sealed packet. It had a low price of just 99p plus £1 postage so I thought why not and entered my bid. It sounded very yummy as ...

Advantages: Easy to use Disadvantages: Leaves my hands quite oily
...packaging and minimal preservatives policy, Lush have made massage oils into massage bars. Rub the bar over your body, or rub it between your hands and then rub the residue on your hands into your skin. I tend to rub the bar all over me, and then rub it in with my hands. Each Peach is made of cocoa butter, shea butter, avocado butter and mango kernel butter, so it's very moisturising. It also contains lime oil, sweet orange oil, mandarin oil, grapefruit ... ...Despite the name, it's not really peachy. I think it smells of sherbert lemon sweets. It's a light, citrussy, fruity, sherberty smell; it's delicious. Each Peach isn't a relaxing bar. The citrussy smell is reviving; it wakes you up. Use it after a day at work to revive yourself before going out, or in the morning to wake you up before you go to work. ...

Advantages: Smells fabulous, reasonably priced, from a shop with morals and principles. Disadvantages: Your partner in massage could end up with repetitive strain injury...
...attacked my nostrils. Lush. The shop, not the Geordie slang for something great and good. Though indeed, my present is both great and good, so we’ll not split hairs over descriptions!
Such is his love and affection for me, Himself had been and spent a whole £7.90 in my favourite shop, to bring me something to calm and soothe my frayed nerves, and possibly his conscience too for being the cause of said frayed nerves. The tin was free, he told me, if he bought two massage bars, so he picked Therapy, because The Helpful Lush Lady had told him it was great for pregnant ladies, and EachPeach and Twos a Pear, because we’ve had it before and know it to be utterly divine! (Review to follow on that one too, I think!)
