Enchanted Eye Cream!
It certainly had a nice ring to the name!I have never been one to generally use an eye cream as part of my daily beauty routine.
However, one day I was noticing that the skin around my eyes didn't look as healthy as it used too.Don't get me wrong, my eyes didn't make me look as though i'd just stepped out 'Return of Living Dead' film set, but it was enough to make me notice at least!
I wasn't smoking anymore, and I was getting the correct amount of sleep.I wasn't sure if an eye cream was what I needed, afterall could it just be 'life' having its toll on me.
For the sake of a few quid I was going to see what would fix me up.This cream came with the bold statement that it is 'Pure, simple, refreshing, moisturising and minimises fine lines)
The cream comes in a quite watery white liquid consistency and has a faint smell of what I feel smells like Nivea. Only faint though, remembering that the cream has to go around your eye area, so anything too strong could disturb your eyes somewhat. The cream applies easily, and absorbs super quickly. (It was Lush's purpose to make it absorb quickly ~ what's the point of having a cream that just lies on the surface?)
I apply this to the whole of my under eye and then on my lid and around my eye socket area.I feel no sensations of stinging, or anything else uncomfortable.
When the cream dries in, my eyes are left feeling quite refreshed but not necessarily moisturised.Once I week I apply an extra large amount of cream to my eye area, and let it soak in by itself, which is a great little 'eye mask' - give it a go!
After using this every morning and night for a month, it became part of my routine and I forgot what my purpose of using it was for. Then one day, while looking in the mirror, it suddenly hit me that my eyes looked fresh and the dark circles were no more.
I honestly can say that underneath my eyes, my skin was bright looking! With regards to the fine lines which never bothered me anyway, I was partly convinced that there is some difference.
I don't know though, with my eyes looking so much healthier, I may just be being deceived...It comes in a pump-dispenser format, which I found if pressed to hard, too much comes out for what your peepers require.
Press gently, and if you're careful you'll get just the right amount out of it.Tip: If you do dispence too much, Lush Times (Lush monthly magazine) recommend that you use the rest around your mouth area which will help minimise fine lines in that area. This way none of the cream is going to waste.
Lush Enchanted Eye Cream comes in a 45g black plastic bottle, and retails at £7.95I would recommend this product to all, however don't expect instant results.
Lush can't work magic overnight especially with such delicate matters!!
