I love this lettuce!

Advantages Exfoliating, refreshing, reduces blemishes, brightens skin
Disadvantages Doesn't really mattify oily skin
It was coming up to my birthday not long ago, and I decided that a Lush fresh face mask would be the perfect thing to make sure my skin was looking good. As it happened I'd managed to save up five black pots, so I was able to choose a mask for free, although they are normally £4.95.
I spoke to the assistant, who asked what kind of skin I had, and when I said slightly oily she recommended Love Lettuce. I was quite happy to try this one, as I hadn't done so before and I like the idea of getting through the whole range!Love Lettuce is like a face mask and an exfoliator in one. It contains little ground almond shells to rub off dead skin, and Fuller's Earth, a fine-grained clay that works to draw out impurities and absorb excess oil. Seaweed gel softens and kaolin helps to cleanse and remove dirt. The mask also contains lavender and honey, so sadly it isn't suitable for vegans.
Once I got the mask home I kept it in the fridge, as you're supposed to, until you want to use it. When I came to apply the mask, I cleansed my face and put on my hairband, and got the mask out of the fridge. Opening it, I thought it smelled delicious - like digestive biscuits, which sounds really odd, but it was lovely! The mask was dark green in colour and grainy in texture.I applied a layer of mask to my face and waited for fifteen minutes for it to do its work. I applied it straight from the fridge, so it was lovely and cold! After use I rinsed the mask off my face, rubbing it in so it could exfoliate. It was quite rough but I was able to vary it by rubbing less hard!
After use, my skin looked glowing and fresh. The mask didn't irritate my skin at all, which is a bonus.I've used the mask a few times and overall I'm happy with it. My skin feels incredibly soft and smooth after using, as well as being blemish-free and glowing. A lot of this is probably down to the exfoliating action of the mask. My one disappointment is that it doesn't really mattify my skin all that much, which is something that other face masks from Lush have done in the past.
Overall, this isn't my favourite face mask ever but it's still a really good one - by Lush's standards not as good as BB Seaweed, by anyone else's standards, fantastic! I think I'd like to try it again though, probably in the winter as my skin can get a little dry then and could do with some exfoliating action - being less oily, it wouldn't matter so much if the mask didn't mattify my skin.I would recommend the mask to anyone with normal skin, or anyone that has slightly oily or even slightly dry skin. It's also good if you fancy something exfoliating, but might not be appropriate if your skin is very dry or very greasy.

I haven't tried this one but do love their fresh masks.
