Gradually I am trying to work my way through every Lush bath product in existence. I bought several products from the Lush Christmas range late last year, but have only recently got around to using... more

Advantages Advantages Great scent, deep colour, looks festive

Disadvantages Disadvantages No real moisturising qualities, Only available during Christmas period

Although I’m a big fan of Lush, I don’t tend to buy ballistics for myself, I do think they’re a little over-priced considering I can only get one bath from each. I do, however, love trying Lush’s Christmas range and added one of each of their festive ballistics to my basket. Satsumo Santa was one of these additions, and one that I really enjoyed using. What Lush Says Fans of Saint Nick don’t need to impatiently wait out the days at Lush. Our Satsumo Santa Bath Ballistic has refreshing mandarin and bergamot oils to make the dark days seem brighter and orange blossom absolute to send your mind ... more

Advantages Advantages A lovely dark orange bath which smells great.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Doesn't appear to have had much effect on the condition of my skin.

I don't often buy many bath ballistics from Lush as I prefer the bubble bars and in the past some of the ballistics have really not been worth the money. I like the bath ballistics which make the water change into a vibrant colour and of course, smell really nice. Some of the ballistics Lush offer don't change the colour of the water and the scent soon wanders away, leaving you to wonder what you missed. I love Lush's christmas stock they get in each year, but I never imagined I'd end up trying this ballistic. Now that Christmas is over Lush are trying to get rid of the left over Christmas ... more

    Advantages Advantages Novelty and seasonal

Disadvantages Disadvantages Over-priced for what it offers

This is the first Christmas that I’ve ever received any Lush products and thus the first time of using them, having read so many reviews about the products over recent years. This Satsumo Santa came in a large metallic red gift box with 5 other Christmas themed products although it was available for sale individually priced at £2.95. What is it? According to Lush, it is meant to be ‘a fusion of the British tradition of an orange in the bottom of your Christmas stocking and the Japanese tradition of splitting a yuzu orange and putting it in your bathwater at Winter Solstice’. With these two ... more

    Advantages Advantages Smells lovely

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

I got lots of lovely Lush products for Christmas and the Satsumo Santa was one of them. ~Packaging~ Lush believe in saving the planet and recycling everything so the packaging of this Santa is nothing fancy just the standard yellow and black paper bag with the Lush logo on. Lush recommend you use the bag to scent your sock drawer or similar after using your Santa. ~What does my Sumo Santa look like?~ A bath ballistic which is shaped like a chubby little Sumo wrestler Santa. I think its supposed to be red and white like Santa but realistically its more of a peachy pink sort of colour all over ... more

Advantages Advantages Cute, cheap, lovely smell, great effects on skin

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

Now that it's christmas, I don't feel guilty buying hoards of bits from Lush, and while Christmas shopping last Thursday in Meadowhall, I picked up some of my favourite bath bombs, one of which is the Satsumo Santa, which is only available during the christmas period and is an amazingly good product - not only is it cute, but it's reasonably priced and makes my skin feel gorgeous. These bath ballistics are £2.95 each, which I think is really good value - each bath ballistic in the shop was very generous in size and mine was around the size of my palm, it was quite 'solid' feeling and chunky ... more
