I have a tendency to find products I like and stick with them but the exception to that are bubble baths. I have mentioned before that the only time I get to relax in my house is in the bath! So I like to use a nice bubble bath that smells nice and gives me lots of bubbles but doesn’t dry my skin. I saw this one on special offer and decided to give it a go.
COMPANY HISTORY

Unilever makes this product; the company first started in 1890 and was founded by William Hesketh Lever who produced the famous Sunlight soap at the time this was a fantastic new product that made hygiene and cleanliness popular in Victorian England. The soap was aimed at women and was supposed to help make life easier for them, the more of these history bits I do the more I realized something most of these companies start with a soap, most are founded at men and the products were all aimed at making life easier for women! Maybe if the men attempted to clean up instead of making the mess women wouldn’t have needed so much help!!
Unilever also owns a lot of household brands including: Signal, slimfast, surf, vasaline, ponds and knorr to name but a few.

PACKAGING

This is nice big 500ml bottle, the bottle itself is seethrough so you can see the nice white cream bath through the bottle it is also useful as you can see how much you have left. The lid is a frosted white and has the usual flip top lid with the little hole bit for the cream bath to come out, these always seem to get a bit messy and clogged up. The writing is very tasteful and has the Lux logo and states it is dermatologically tested and PH-neutral to skin.
USING
---------
I usally try and have my bath after the monsters are in bed but according to my youngest this isn’t fair as I make to much noise when running the bath and it disturbs his much needed rest!!!
The first thing I noticed when using this is the scent, it is very unusual and I can’t quite put my finger on it. It does say it contains orchid milk but never having smelt orchid milk before I can’t actually say if this is correct! The closest thing I can say it smells like and I know this is going to sound strange is a packet of wine gums, not the ones in the tube but the ones in the packet! The scent is quite nice actually and isn’t to sweet or sickly.
It does pour nicely into the bath and bubbles up very quickly, you don’t need to use loads at a time but I do give it a generous sqeeze as I like a lot of bubbles, the bubbles do feel nice and creamy and not thin.
So now for the test how long does the scent and bubbles last? When I first pour the foam bath in you really can smell the lovely and unusal scent but this does wear off after a while and becomes very subtle. As for the bubbles well they do last for ages even after I have gone all wrinkly ( what a vision!).
The scent does linger on my skin after drying and I haven’t found that it drys my skin out at all so all in all it does what it says on the tin!

These are all £2.29 but I got this on special offer for £1.49 in Iceland of all places!
As for ingredients well there are a lot of the usual long names that make you feel less happy about the product but if you go on the Unilever website it will tell you all the ingredients and what each one is.
So yes I am happy with this one and it won’t be left collecting dust on my bathroom shelf, the bottle has lasted quite a while and for the price I paid I feel it was very good value. I would like to try some others in the range and I would pay full price for it

...a 750 ml bottle of Lux bath and shower, Heavenly milk, cream for £1.99 . Now that's some price for such a large bottle by a reputable brand.
The bottle stands just over 10 inches high, is a white to clear plastic with gold and blue lettering. It is a shape which is wider at the top and the bottom making it very stable and not easily knocked over.
The writing on the back is minute so just let me get hold of my magnifying glass. Right. There is a ...
...leave a subtle perfume to perk you up. If you are having a leisurely soak instead it really does soften, as the tiny pearls of protein dissolve.
Go on treat yourself.

 luxury for cheaper

this is a very creamy shower milk you do not need to use very much and if you put it on a body pouffe this heavenly shower milk foams up very well and you use just the smallest amount. this is at the cheaper end of the price ranges for shower gel and is a decent sized bottle. the smell is strong when you smell from the bottle and whilst showering but the smell is gone almost instantly when it washes away good if you do not want the smell to over ...
