I am a mother of two girls who are always complaining that their head itches. I check their hair every night incase they have got any lodgers (that`s what we call them in our household). Alas they have none.
I recently received a letter from their school saying that there was a case of headlice going around, at getting this letter I was rather annoyed, knowing that I check my daughters hair on a regular basis.
Whilst out shopping with a friend she told me to try Tea Tree Shampoo as she swore by it. I thought to myself, I will try anything once, I am glad that I did try it.
My daughters have very fine hair and a nit comb just won`t go through their hair to collect the lodgers so I have to pain stakingly have to do it by hand if I see any.
I have tried other products but to no avail.
The Tea Tree Shampoo I purchased in Wilkinsons for the large sum of 98p. The smell does put you off a bit but my daughters have said that since they have started using the product their head no longer itches.
My daughters have only been using it for about 2 weeks now and they have been clear of their lodgers.
I would recommend this product to any other mother who has tried other products which have not worked for them.
With this prodfuct you just shampoo in as normal massaging into the scalp then rinsing with clean water, ther is also a conditioner to go with the shampoo but I have not yet tried it, I will keep you upto date with this product in the near future.
Thankyou for taking the time in reading my op on this product. Tuppney

sorry, but this doesn't actually seem to be about the correct product

The Robi Comb is another good device should your nasty lodgers come back. The Robi Comb electricutes the lice, (this does not cause any paint to the individual), and kills them before they lay more eggs - it is about £16 from Argos etc but it is the only thing product I found that worked.

Sorry for the low rating but I think this op is in the wrong category, this category refers to Lyclear Creme Rinse not tea tree shampoo however effective it may be. Cazz xx
Advantages: Wonderfully useful for a child who is embarrassed about having head lice and wonderfully quick for mother to apply! Disadvantages: I think the lice are becoming resistant to this product.
