AUTAN FAMILY CARE MOSQUITO REPELLENT
Whe we went to Egypt over the easter holiday, I was fairly obsessed about not being bitten by mosquitos and so took several products with us, this being one of them
WHAT IS IT?
This is basically a mosquito repellent- it doesn?t state that it repels other biting bugs and insects but hopefully the same products work at repelling them.
The repellent is delivered via fine powder particles which will apparently dry immediately and repel mosquitos for up to 4 hours.

The product comes in a 100ml aerosol can with a pull off lid and all of the instructions and information are on the back of the can

Jungle formula wipes
When we were in Egypt for a recent holiday, there were quite alot of mosqitos. Having realised that this would probably be the case, I stocked up on mosquito repellent lotions and potions and these were one of the products.
WHAT ARE THEY?
These wipes promise to repel mosqitoes midges and other biting insects for up to 6 hours.
They have apparently been approved by the hospital for tropical Diseases for use in countries where there is no known risk of malaria or other insect transmitted diseases. They won?t protect against these diseases so for anyone travelling where there is a risk, the extra strength wipes should be used.

The wipes themselves come in a box which is the usual Jungle Formula green colour and it has all of the instructions for use on the back of the box ...
Advantages: Keeps the windscreen clear, low price per use Disadvantages: The flip spout on my version was not efficient
~~~ RainX Rain Repellent ~~~
RainX Rain Repellent is a product made for car windscreens (front, back and sides) and as the name suggests it repels rain, sleet and snow from the windscreen. In fact I have found that it actually stops dead bugs from remaining on the windscreen until you give the car a good old wash.
On that note...I've never quite understood how bugs manage to get stuck but that is a whole other story. Basically this product keeps the windscreen clear.
Nothing seems to stick to the screen, the raindrops simply slide off and if you are moving, the wind pushes the debris away.
The product is a silicon polymer which when applied to the windscreens creates a barrier between the wipers and the screen. This allows rain, sleet snow to slide off, but also the wipers just glide across clearing the screen ...
