Book Title: Lost and Found Author: Lynda Bellingham Type: Autobiography Release: February 2010 Price: £10
For many years now I have adored Loose Women. For a long time it was my existence and still is my future, as I can only hope. Loose Women does not only have a great format but also has a wonderful panel (most days). As soon as I started watching the show there were a select few of those panelists who stood out for me and one of these treasures is Lynda Bellingham. I've been acquainted with Bellingham on the odd occasion and have received some wonderful letters from her, and as soon as her autobiography was released, I simply knew that it was there calling for me. Wasting no time, I bought it as soon as I could, looking forward to digging deeper into the life of Lynda Bellingham.
The book itself is very attractive with a picture of Lynda mounted on a white background, her name in lovely gold writing above. Thankfully the content inside is even better. As you would expect with an autobiography, we are given Lynda's life story as it stands. However, what makes this extra special is that it focuses on her career largely. Apart from the first few chapters which give us her background, the majority of the book focuses on her passion for acting, her love for the media and the ups and downs of it all. For me personally it is not only a great read but incredibly insightful too and I did pick up one or two more tips from her along the way.
The book is full of emotion and did draw me to tears several times. Granted, that's not hard to do, but it is so beautifully written. Perhaps it is not as harrowing as books such as A Child Called It, and maybe you do need to know who Bellingham is to truly connect with the book, but either way it is still a fantastic read!
At £10 in hardback, this is priced quite reasonably. It is definitely worth paying the money for as it is one you will read from cover to cover as I did, and most likely will do again. It seems that all the Loose Women are releasing autobiographies, with Coleen's last year and Denise and Carol's later this year, but Bellers' is by far the best so far! It is definitely worth looking out for, a great read for sure!

Good review. I don't tend to read biographies but I might start. Would just have liked to have known how many pages; the basic content of each chapter etc...so that I known it's not too repetitive x L@Cey
