During the game you have to avoid the police, try to knock down speed cameras for extra money, dodge traffic, and enter garages to repair any damage and to top up your turbo with nitro oxygen. The range of music is good.
The attention to detail is excellent and you can recognise all the famous landmarks as you race around London, like Buckingham Palace, Tower Bridge, and the Millennium Dome. You also have to race around the narrow streets of Oxford, where there are tight corners to negotiate. You can hear the police radio as youre being chased.

M25 Racer is a very basic game with not very good graphics and absolutely horrific music. It is full of 2d people and buildings and lampposts and tables and chairs and railings and gates and cars. The police chases last for about one minute and the chance of getting caught are very very very very very very very very very slim indeed. The best bit about the game is typing your name into the leader board and buying a mini. If you want to buy a bad ...

Advantages: good for a low spec machine Disadvantages: not very good shelf life
...England most famous motorway the M25 in a mini? Well probably not huh, ok well your going to get the opportunity anyway. M25 racer is a racing game where you race down the M25 at breakneck speeds in car such as mini's, BMW's and Jaguar's, avoiding the police where ever possible. The realism in the game has something to be desired though it must be said, flying down Britain's busiest motorway at over 200mph is just not realistic, and the scenery, ... ...well as racing on the M25 you also get to race around London and Oxford. The graphics are ok but by any means brilliant, but they do the job well enough, and it does not require a 3D card to run, unlike many of the games being released today. The game can be played with only a P166 and 16MB of ram, although it is much smother on a P200 with 32MB. It must be said its not as good as the latest "Need for Speed", but its only half the price and so if ...

This is to be honest one of the most boring games I hav ever seen in my entire life, it is power hungry, lacks realism, and the cars are pathetic. The textures will need considerable improvement before I will consider buying (if one comes out) a sequal. This cars stay on the road too easily, they dont get damaged, and they don't even flip over. The police really do need to get a bit better on their chasing. I am very disapointed with this product, ... ...as I can see there is nothing to commend this game for, the lack of realism, and bad design ruins what could be an excelent game. I think that this company should take a look at Midtown Madness to see how they do it.
Also watch out in some places they have called this game London racer (or similar) t is the same game, don't buy it you will regret spending yur well earned £20 ...

Advantages: looks great, playable, 3D support, UK specific racer, loads of fun, great value Disadvantages: dodgy AI, unreliable collision detection, there are better racers available
M25 and racer are not usually words that go together, however M25 Racer is an arcade racing game based on Davilex's Autobahn Raser engine.
You race against computer cars around the streets of London, Oxford, countryside and even the M25.
The tracks look gorgeous, and you can tell that Davilex has spent time in England getting textures and getting a feel for english roads.
There are a multitude of cars to choose from, most of which need to be earned ... ...also be ran in software mode at 320x240 or 640x480.
M25 Racer is immediately playable, and gives the impression of arcade racers such as Screamer, although it isnt up to the standard of recent racing games, it is still an enjoyable diversion.
M25 Racer costs £20, very good value. ...

Having now played the much hyped ridge racer 2 I thought it was time I told the reviewing commuinity exactly what i thought of it. Its at this point I try to think of an interesting way to introduce the subject and to grab your attention about new gaming more
I have only played this game once, of a friends.
I would recommend the game for children around 5+.
The game is very childish but not the easiest to navigate on and get into races.
The Game:
Very addicting game to be strictly honest with you, It... more

If you enjoy Ridge Racer and aren't too fussed about change, you are likely to enjoy Ridge Racer 7. It's more of the same, yet again, but if you dig that you'll no doubt dig Namco's latest. I'm going to echo those sentiments with the multiplayer... more
