I've been trying to find the perfect pink lipstick for a while now, and after looking on MACs UK website (www.maccosmetics.co.uk) I came across this lipstick (found under Products then Lips, then Lipstick). I'm not a fan of buying make up without seeing or testing it so I went to my nearest MAC store which is in Liverpool's Met Quarter. The staff were extremely helpful and very quick to help me.
Staff will also advise on which colours suit your complexion, as well as a variety of other services (such as finding the perfect foundation for your skin tone).
The colour is described as a 'clean pastel pink' which it is, with no gloss or shimmer, just bright matte colour (from the Amplified range I believe) and is very striking.

After wearing the lipstick for a few weeks in the day and on nights out I found it to be very long lasting and vibrant. The only small negative point is that as the hours past, the pink seemed to change slightly, getting a little darker. I even woke up the next morning after a night out, still with pink lips! But the colour had darkened slightly. No idea why, but not really something to worry about as you can just reapply whenever necessary.
The price is £11.26 (strange number due to the VAT reduction) on the website and instore. It is more than i would usually pay for a lipstick but it's something I wear everyday and I decided instead of buying several cheap poor quality products, I would buy one very good product that would last and I'm glad I did. I would definately recommend this lipstick, and even this lipstick in another of the vast number of shades.
One major plus is that it is not drying to the lips. I often get dry lips even if i don't use balm for just one day, so this is a good product for those who want to care for their lips at the same time. The smell of the lipstick is also very nice!

Advantages: (+) HUGE colour and finish range, more colours in USA (+) sexy packaging (+) recycling scheme (+) lasts Disadvantages: None in particular, heavy price tag but sooo worth it!
