I use Mac Studio Stick in Nc43. I am so sad because they have discontinued it and have hardly any on the internet so I have to find a new best foundation :(
I first bought this foundation off Ebay, first time I tried it I was in loveeee. I have always ahd acne scars and every time I went to a beauty counter for help on concealers they'd be like, "No way! your scars you can't hide them!! Nothing will cover THAT UP!" like literally yelling it out! Mean old b******!! I know I can cover them and if you don't wanna bloody help me do it, I'll do it myself.
After all those experiences with Clinique, Loreal, Revlon, etc. I thought Id have to try Mac, my last resort. I never wanted to try Mac because even though I had heard its the best, I knew it was expensive and heard it was stage makeup so it broke you out and I head all the SA's were stuck up ands tried to make you spend like $200. I thought oh god no, the last thing I want it to finally have the confidence to walk into one of those shiny white Mac stores and then get patronised in front of customers about my hideous acne scars. I went in there with my friend and we stood around for about 15 minutes trying to get some help (I wanted help finding my shade NC NW what the crap???) We were aknowledged and shoved off to the side, we never ended up getting served, and so when we looked at some foundations on the stands, the chick runs over like OMG if you wanna try it just ASk you don't go using the new stock as testers! We were like what the? we stand around wanting help so when we try to help ourselves we get freakin bombarded!! !! We weren't even trying them on just having a little look, so we got the heck outta dodge and I have never gone back.
This is why I bought it off Ebay :D I totally guessed my colour haha, there is like 100 different colours and I thought I dunno I might be Nc42, then thought nahh nc43 so got that! It is a small concealer stick looking thing, its not liquid but its a creme, texture is really nice. Got it in the mail few days later bought my foundation brush already and applied it, I was like hey? I couldnt see it on my face, omg that is how perfectly it matchedd!!!! Like I have never found a foundation for my half asian skin tone its so hard! And this.... I was putting it over my acne scars and they were erasing them, they were just gone, under the makeup, oh and you can make certain areas light coverage and then pack it on over the scars and you cant even tell!!! My dad was like woah ur skin looks nice and I was like thanks to foundation!!! It stayed on all day and actually looked better during the day than when I first applied it, I didnt need to reapply it at all.
Now I use this all the time when I go to work. I work as a dealer at the casino and start at 4am finish at lunch. Everytime I come out to the car Im like damn my skin looks good! And now everybody compliments me on my skin thanks to rosehip oil & mac studio stick :D
Now I just dont know what to do because its been discontinued!!!!! :( :( I bought it once off some website but they're really hard to find now.
