Advantages: wide screen and very good customer service plus two years' warranty Disadvantages: I have experienced systme crash for twice with this laptop
...I have been using this laptop for nearly two years, overall, it was very good value and I like the wide screen and keyboard, it's very easy to use and the look on this laptop is quite good; and there's quiet mode that helps to reduce noise from the laptop. However, I experienced twice of system crashes with this laptop, when I turned it on, it couldn't process to the windows xp. Fortunately, maxdata offers two years' warranty on this laptop, it is much longer than the warranty offered by other branded laptops, after I call the technical support team, my laptop was collected, repaired and then returned without charging me nothing, I got back my laptop in just 1-2 weeks. I am very satisfied with the customer service of maxdata....

Advantages: Fully loaded for light user Disadvantages: Heavy by weight
...A lower price laptop from top brand. It uses a celeron processor that is useful for a light user means for a user mainly use it for net surfing office work and playing and recording music movies.
Looks are excellent but its bit heavy but no problem if you are looking for an affordable machine.
The speed is moderate because it got a fast 2.93ghz processor with a lower bus speed any way its celeron.
Ram is quite high but memory speed is moderate 266mhz that makes it an average laptop.
No doubt keyboard feels comfortable and well designed. Apart from that machine is loaded with good features like firewire ports, usb 2.0 good for fast data tranfers using usb devices. Laptop is internet ready with eathernet and modem so you can straight way connect to broadband or dial up.
In conclusion i can say if you are looking for a machine that will do...

Advantages: fast, cheap alternative, lasting. Disadvantages: Athlong are out, less Cache.
...I own a Celeron 400mhz. I have overclocked it to 450mhz throught the bios and could get it too 500mhz through the bios. I have to say the Celeron is a excellent cheap alternative to a Pentium 2 of the same range. Now Athlons and Pentium 3 high class chips are out, but so what. My celeron 400 does the job for anything an athlon 1000mhz does for example, just a little slower. new celerons are coming out at speeds of around 700mhz so i am interested in buying one of those. I think the Celeron is best for your money. It has fast speeds, doesnt get too hot and has a great performance. I have had my CPU for over a year now and it is still running overclocked strong. I recommend the celeron's immensly....
