Advantages: very good, low price processor, overclockable Disadvantages: none as yet
...when i bought a sempron3000+ i didnt imagine it would be as good as it really is, the motherboards that support the sempron's also support quicker dual cores so when the time comes to upgrading again i will be able to buy a dual core with no extra fuss.
i have set up a whole system from scratch and this processor peformed brilliantly, i recomend this processor for all those who want a good low cost solution to upgrading,
NB the overclocking potential is about 1.5 times base. which is awesome and the ram speeds of the motherboards that support this processor are blistering. would recommend something like an ASUS A8V-VM to use with this product as its also a nice peice of engineering...

Advantages: wide screen and very good customer service plus two years' warranty Disadvantages: I have experienced systme crash for twice with this laptop

However, I experienced twice of system crashes with this laptop, when I turned it on, it couldn't process to the windows xp. Fortunately, maxdata offers two years' warranty on this laptop, it is much longer than the warranty offered by other branded laptops, after I call the technical support team, my laptop was collected, repaired and then returned without charging me nothing, I got back my laptop in just 1-2 weeks. I am very satisfied with the customer service of maxdata....

The low end processors market is not as greatly disputed such as mainstream and high end processor market and also if you noticed few reviews are written about them, few more
I for one, absolutely love the look of this acer. The bottom of the laptop just looks really cool, and the top looks ok too. One only criticism on the look, would be that the plastic at the tip of the screen is a little thick, but then again it does have more
I bought mine on ebay for £360, I needed it for university study and it's working really well for small documents like word and excel and it will also play some games well, mainly Unreal Tournament online :-)
The disk space of 60GB is plenty for me.... more
