MAXDATA workstations are the optimal solution for demanding technological, design and financial applications. They are as well suited for use in small workgroup networks as they are in large company networks, and they are specially designed for the performance-oriented user. Programs requiring considerable processor power require extremely strong performance by default - performance that the optimally expandable workstation FUSION 6000 I provides. It is well suited to a wide variety of uses - for technology, design, and financial applications that depend on powerful hardware.

...I have owned a maxdata laptop since August 2000 and in that time I have found it pretty good actually.
For the purposes of comaprison I own a maxdata 650T, a P3 700MHz with DVD Drive 128Mb Ram with an 11Gb HDD. In addition I am sharing a house with 4 other guys all who own laptops so I feel that this is a fair comparison of its abilities
How easy is it to get started?
Very! I got that baby ticking away within 30 minutes. The Operating system needed to be installed which was done quickly via good company instructions and a fast processor. Being a laptop there wasn't a great deal to do after that except install all device drivers and get plugging away!
Speed
From my experience runs like a dream. Boots up fast shuts down fast and processes just generally very quickly. it should be noted that it appears to slow down more than...

Advantages: wide screen and very good customer service plus two years' warranty Disadvantages: I have experienced systme crash for twice with this laptop
...I have been using this laptop for nearly two years, overall, it was very good value and I like the wide screen and keyboard, it's very easy to use and the look on this laptop is quite good; and there's quiet mode that helps to reduce noise from the laptop. However, I experienced twice of system crashes with this laptop, when I turned it on, it couldn't process to the windows xp. Fortunately, maxdata offers two years' warranty on this laptop, it is much longer than the warranty offered by other branded laptops, after I call the technical support team, my laptop was collected, repaired and then returned without charging me nothing, I got back my laptop in just 1-2 weeks. I am very satisfied with the customer service of maxdata....

Advantages: Looks Great, Works Fine, Good After Service Disadvantages: Battery Length and Gets very Hot!
...I brought the Dell Inspiron 6000 about 9 months ago as I needed a laptop for university. I wanted something powerful, nice and reliable and also at a decent price. So I opted for a Dell. Great after sales service, good offers and a very good price! Leaving me no reason to complain or buy any other laptop. And to be honest over the last 9 months it hasn't failed to impress.
I brought it for £545 and recieved a free Dell Printer and Free delivery worth £50. I think the price was very competitive and i failed to find a laptop as good with a similar spec for a similar price. Dell at the time seeemed the best value for money and it still does!
The design is very elegant and professional looking and comes in a silver colour. The 15.4" inch screen is great; it really stands out from all the standard laptops. It comes with built in...
