MBNA do not treat borrowers...
MBNA are very unpleasant people to deal with. I lost my job and fell behind with payments - I never defaulted, it is all repaid - but I was late sometimes.
MBNA began phoning repeatedly between 8am and 8pm. One of these harrasment calls I particularly remember. The harraser called and I explained that the money had left my bank account and was on it's way to them - this takes 4 working days in the UK.
He then asked if I could make a payment by charge card immediately, then if I there was a family member who could, then if there was a friend who could then he asked again if I had paid. I explained again that I had and again the same questions were asked, and then again. The only way to end this was to hang up. Shortly after another phone call was placed to me, in which they complained that I had hung up on their previous call.
These are only two of the calls I got from MBNA. I am sure that all of what MBNA do is legal but their behavior towards customers who get into any sort of trouble is thuggish and brutal. Don't have anything to do with them and warn others.
