I have had a MBNA Platinum card for a number of years and have had no cause to complain about the service received. The customer service line is easy to access and operators are sympathetic and knowledgeable about likely questions or problems. The on line banking system is simple to use and understand and in my experience can always be accessed.
When I have experience a problem, not with MBNA but with a trader who failed to refund my payment, MBNA acted quickly to remedy the situation and credit my account accordingly.
In addition to offering the standard credit card MBNA offer a high credit limit, income permitting, and additional services like, insurance, travel money (foreign currency to your door), legal advice and special offers on selected products and services.
The only aspect that I don’t have any experience of is when payments are made late or when rules are breached by the cardholder. Thankfully I have managed to keep my account within its specified limits.

Working in the financial sector, I have too noted that MBNA offer very high credit limits, which could be a problem for some customers, new to credit cards.

Sorry for the helpful. As already stated, perhaps a little more info required .........perhaps on interest rates??
Advantages: High credit limits, flexible lending policy, good balance transfer offers Disadvantages: Low minimum repayments, charging for balance transfers
