The two main moisturising properties in this product are water and hyaluronic acid. The way this product works is that humectants attract water to the skin to replenish its water reservoir. This product contains hyaluronic acid, more than all the other products, it also contains the antioxidants - vitamin E, Green Tea, Super Oxide, Dismutase and also the Botanical Extracts - Camomile, Ceramides and lipids. Antioxidants fight free radicals, are anti ageing and keep your skin younger for longer. Hyaluronic acid provides rapid hydration but is only effective if delivered into the skin the correct way. The masque is a beautifully thick white creamy texture and is applied easily onto your skin and washes off nicely without leaving a sticky residue. When it is on your skin, it feels really cooling, not in a menthol way, but a soothing way, you can feel the soothing properties working immediately in your skin. You can judge how parched your skin is, by how much is absorbed into your skin after application. After 15 minutes, sometimes I have quite a lot left on my skin, but other times I barely have any left as my skin has just really sucked it in.
