A few weeks ago a friend commissioned me to build and install his new kitchen, this involved stripping the existing fittings out the old units rewiring and plumbing prior to fitting the new equipment. This proved to be no mean feat M.F.I. seem to consider the method of construction to be perfect who ever writes their instructions must live in cloud cuckoo land, the words and pictures dont relate to the packages.
When you start nothing can be done without measuring all panels to decide which is to be used, I have never had problems reading directions but here i was lost Now i believe M.F.I. to meen Many Fundamental Idiosyncrasies the next problem was glue spots over the large panels which M.F.I. said “we should clean of with meth`s” .I ask why when the kitchen cost in excess of £1400.00 maybe M.F.I. used to much meth`s. Problem three was the cabinet edges being finished in dark wood on a light beech finish. The reply was all units are this colour, funny how most of ours are finished in light beech generally poor service and product
