After we had paid for some bath taps - and discovered like other reviewers that nothing is available in stock - we were asked to sign the MFI Customer Charter. If you are ever asked to do this - REFUSE! According to MFI, this piece of paper negates your right to return a product to the store for refund, as we discovered when the tap fittings proved to be the wrong size for our particular bath (We're not plumbers, how could we know?) MFI makes their customer charter look like a guarantee of some kind, with the top half of the page telling you what wonderful service they offer! Ha! Ha! (I don't have space here to recount the problems we had with delivery!) The manager hid in his office and refused to come out and speak to us. We will never ever buy from MFI again.

Advantages: Wide selection, hygine checked, charity aid, low prices, great name clothes and friendly people. As well as the thrill of the chase! Disadvantages: As with all things, there are some good and some bad charity shops. Don't be put off by one bad one, as the majourity are excellent.
Advantages: stores all over the country, always a sale on, not too pushy, payment and delivery Disadvantages: those annoying adverts, having to pay extra for everything
