I'D GO FOR AN AIGO A208 AGAIN.
Review of Aigo MP3 Player A208 512 MB by
alicefaethepalace
Advantages: Small, discreet and with great sound
Disadvantages: Aigo's helpline
My son knows a wee bit about MP3 players and thought this was a great all rounder, so I bought the 2 gigabyte version for my husband through Amazon for £19 including delivery. I had problems getting my PC to accept the connection. It knew the player was connected (because the player told me so), but I just couldn't get the files to transfer. There is no software to install and it had me stumped. Aigos online help service ignored two emails, even ... ...for their after sales service. Contact with Amazon with fruitful and they would have accepted return. They have a wonderful phone helpline and staff who are a pleasure to deal with.
So, exasperated to the point of screaming or returning it to Amazon, I tried other ports and eventually realized that it liked my printer port, and since then I have had no problems. Delighted to say that this little player has wonderful sound, a neat look, and most ...

Aigo 215 MP3 Player - Not a bad piece of kit
Review of Aigo A215 1 GB by
janhsmn
Advantages: Great battery life
Disadvantages: fiddly menu system until you get to grips with it
We own two of these MP3 Players and have done for the last year. I managed to pick them up in Argos for £24.99 and £29.99 respectively in one of their many price drop sessions. So how does it work. If you are running windows XP it is plug and play, it comes with a usb lead and good instruction manual. I use windows media player or real player to rip music to my computer and then just drag and drop into the MP3 player. It comes with various menu options, ... ...on random and each time i switch it on I get a different selection of music. Odd songs are repeated but that is only to be expected. It will hold up to 200-250 mp3 tracks which is quite a bit of music. Changing what is on the mp3 player is very easy. You just attach it to the PC and delete the tracks you no longer want on it. We use ours on our motorbikes and play them via the bikes audio system to helmet headsets and the sound quality is very good. ...

AIGO
-------
Aigo were established in 1993. They produce high tech gadgets such as removable storage and audio equipment. The first time I heard Aigo was on the side of a racing car on Formula 1 racing. The company however is very good and is getting a better reputation with consumers. They put a lot of time and commitment into research and marketing and many of their products are well suited to their market.
APPEARANCE
---------------------
... ...to fit in the hand. It is quite lightweight. Due to my love of pink I loved the appearance of this however if you are not fond of pink there is another model in black. It has a small ring at the top to place on a key-ring or lanyard. I have mine on a lanyard so that I do not lose it. The USB connection is covered with a pink lid/cap so that the MP3 player looks smooth and professional. he main buttons such as stop, forward, back, play and stop are ...

baby pink mp3
Review of Aigo A203 512 MB by
Laura893
Advantages: looks cool
Disadvantages: bit out of date
Now I know that are more advanced mp3 players around, but this is great if you want a simple to use and reliable product. It also looks attractive in baby pink, making it appealing and stylish. It is not the slimmest of products, but it's small and compact enough to fit in your pocket without being uncomfortable. It has a decent size memory, allowing for quite a few songs and is good for not skipping when in the middle of your favourite song, so ... ...running through the park.
By also having the hold button, it makes sure that there are no changing tracks whilst you are bopping along. It has some features, such as random, repeat and intro scan, so you can mix up your music. The equaliser is also good, especially if you want a bit more bass. This MP3 player is also pretty good for playing for a long period of time before the batteries need replacing. Overall, I wouldn't say it was the most effective ...

Aigo 1GB MP3 Player
Review of Aigo A208 1 GB by
danfellowes
Advantages: Nice Design, Simple.
Disadvantages: MP3 so not as advanced as iPod/ Creative
I'll start with the basics, obviously this is an mp3 player and USB Storage Device. Very useful for transferring files from computer to computer and for listening to your favourite tracks on the move. With 1 GB of storage you can definitely fit most of what you want onto this little thing. Black coloured with silver buttons and border. The display screen lights up blue as you turn it off but the light quickly turns itself off which is a bit awkward ... ...to have in your hand but it's a shame the buttons aren't reachable in this comfortable position. The headphone socket is, somewhat unusually, on the top of the product which still now confuses me sometimes. Menu and EQ buttons are on the top.
Menu
This takes you into select what you want to be on from a list of: Music, Record, Voice, Navigation, Settings, Delete, About and Exit. Which are all pretty straight forward. The Record setting allows you ...
