A very good product Advantages: Space, Screen, OS Disadvantages: Internet, battery, bugs ...(or its little cousin, the Archos 5), you will be buying the best mp3 player on the market. For now, Archos has way too much control of an mp3 player (they call it an IMT "Internet Media Tablet") I bought from them. This is a good solution for people who have organized their music specifically, and have a big collection, or want to keep the entire running series of The Simpsons on a single player and still have weeks of music. Touched by the Hand of Genius Advantages: Responsive touchscreen, excellent screen for video, applications, 64GB hard drive Disadvantages: Only 5 hours battery life for video, can be slow to sync with iTunes, price is very high ...Started This is an Apple product and it goes without saying that you need iTunes installed on your computer to use it. I am not a huge fan of iTunes for music - they use the AAC format which I really don't like, and I also resent the fact for years any songs you purchased were copy protected and limited to 5 computers. This copy protection has been removed but it's something that stopped me downloading legally for so long until Amazon started selling ... ...films too) and the new Apple phenomena - the Application, or "App" as it is commonly known. I digress however - to get started you need to connect your iPod Touch to your computer and let it synchronise with iTunes. Review of iPod 30GB Advantages: Lots of space for files, good video and sound quality, easy to use, great design Disadvantages: The longer you have it the quicker and more charging it needs, can sometimes freeze and need reset I am a person who likes variety, and listening to music when walking. When I had my portable cd player, I got annoyed whenever it jogged by the slightest bump and having to lug around several cds so I could change the music when I wanted. That's why I'm so grateful for the iPod. It has a smart, simple and stylish design. It is easy to use and can probably be easily used by most people. It is small but not too small, so it can fit into most pockets ... ...is sharp and clear, watching videos on the iPod is always a delight. The sound quality is also good and has an equalizer setting option so you can change the sound to, for example, more or less bass. The amount of space that comes with the 30Gb is plenty. I have had mine for a couple of years now and still ahve space left, even with the hundreds of albums and many videos and podacsts I have put on it.
