Advantages: Works ok as MP3 player
Disadvantages: Poor FM radio. no point to recording from the built in radio

...months ago. The Archos Ondio looks attractive but the black fabric cover that comes with it is poorly designed, I had to cut part of the horizontal bar off to give me access to the buttons. In practice, the Ondio is ok as a MP3 player but the radio only works okayish if standing still. Using it on when moving e.g. on a train or coach is a waste of time. This makes the facility to record from the radio pretty useless too. I use it with a Emac and ...
...but most Mac users use iTunes, so I tried it with that. You have to drag and drop songs to the device but it works effectively enough. You get MusicMatch Jukebox for the pc. This is a good programme that I used before when I had a pc. One thing I haven't tried yet is recording from a hifi, if that works, getting songs off tapes or records would be a very useful function. The apple ipod touch is an amazing device that can be used almost anywhere at almost anytime. It is a very clever device that allows you to listen to your favourite music or watch your favourite movies on the go. ...it also came with some apple stickers. Once i managed to turn the ipod on i set up the internet which was really quick. It has some really good features and is a good nifty gadget. Although it can get slow sometimes like when you want to load a youtube video up it takes quite a while. But the internet is really good although you cant watch videos on it or view some pictures. Ahh the Apple ipod classic 80GB All the Space, what to do with it all? you could easily put everythink you want on here and still have plenty of room left. imagine it, a hole DJ's collection on CD's and single all in your pocket on a few inches of MP3 player. ...the music app on there, Apple have designed a really unique way to find your music - by scrolling through your albums, as if it was on your shelf! If you have the new iPod Touch, or upgrade the old one, then you can get the genius playlist. I haven't used this yet, but I'm not sure of the point of it!
