Tiny but packs a punch! Advantages: Cheap, small, nice speakers Disadvantages: Difficult to navigate, Buttons are hard to master, lacks good sound quality The new addition of an inbuilt speaker made this guy irresistible. For its tiny size the speaker actually doesn't sound too bad. Sure it isn't a full hi-fi system, but it comes in handy when you have friends around want to show off the tunes you listen to. The screen and navigation on this thing isn't easy at all, in fact i think its a little complicated. But you can get used to it(not exactly rocket science). The compact design means that its really ... ...life is also small, it only runs for about 14hours before it dies. Besides that, the sound quality on isn't really one of the best. in my point of view its actually quite loud but lacks substance. This is also one of the cheapest players out there. So if you really need a player thats cheap and has a loud speaker, BUY IT! ... Sturdy, adequate Player Advantages: Long battery life, very durable. Disadvantages: Poor screen quality ...cheap replacement for my other Creative Player which I lost. This has survived my accident prone hands (including a spin in the washing machine) and is serving me well. Sound is a good quality for such a cheap player and it has very good battery life. The screen quality is not great but you are not paying a lot of money. The player is easy to navigate, with clearly defined menu headings and allows you to create playlists on the go. small, portable and durable Advantages: durable, light and small, simple to add music to Disadvantages: surface will scratch, limited space I have owned a Creative ZEN Stone for a couple of years now and have found it very reliable. The shiny surface will soon scratch making it loose its aesthetic appeal but functionally it works just as well as when I bought it. The battery has lost some time which can be annoying when doing extensive travelling as you will need to recharge it after about three hours. The 1 GB of space can become very small when listening to a lot of music, and it lacks ... ...additional 'shuffle' and 'switch folder' buttons. However the simplicity is what really appeals to me. I can switch through albums and tracks purely by touch and aside from the scratches, appears to be very durable from being dropped, stuffed in a bag and taken travelling. In addition it is incredibly light making it extremely portable. My new Zen X-Fi2 32GB is.... what the word again... amazing!!! Advantages: Av Output to plug to a TV, built-in speakers, easy to use. Come with very good earphones Disadvantages: Does not come with power supply (easy to charge from the PC though), av cable is sold separately Received last week my new toy... the Zen X-Fi2 32GB. Played with it the all weekend. Great stuff. Slick, light and stylish. Easy to use with its touch screen. Not to many menues so you get lost. The number of options is also very manageable. Files transfer is very intuitive. It comes with a software to help with that that is simple to use. It tells you if a video format is not accepted by the player and offer to convert it for you. I am not sure ... ...but it seems to work with a code few of them anyway. The built-in speaker is a nice little plus and its actually loud enough. Video playback is outstanding. Now I regret I did not order the av cable to connect it to my TV. It also has an micro sd card slot. I have tested my card with it and it worked at the first try. I am happy here too. ... Creative zen 32gb - innovative and stylish mp3 Advantages: large viewing screen, photos storage, radio, recording, sd slot, good sound quality Disadvantages: reliability, durability - easily scratched, no mains charger I have owned a Creative ZEN 32gb mp3 player for approximately a year - previous to this I had a much older creative zen which lasted well until it was finally drowned in a deluge of water. As such I was veering towards buying another zen due to my previous positive experiences. I came across this one online and read a number of reviews - half claiming it was the best mp3 ever and the other that it was the worst. Never had I seen such a difference ... ...points compared to the negative, it's the reliability and durability that drags it down to 3 stars. However I took a chance on it and even though I had to have the first one replaced - I do not regret choosing the creative zen 32gb to replace my old mp3. ...
