About the sv sd80/85
Advantages: Small , Rechargeable Battery , Different Functions Disadvantages: Tooooo Small!!!
the sv sd80/85 is a advance in technology , i own one. it is very small and lightweight and comes with a small rechargeable case via aaa battery. it also comes with a decent pair of headphones, charging cradle , sd memory stick and a usb to sd convertor. the software (realplayer) is very easy to use. All in all i think this mp3 player is worth the full money. i bought a 1gb sd card off ebay for £43 including postage and packaging, this can hold up ...

best mp3 player if it were not for real juke box
Advantages: stylish, up too 2 gig of memory for a very small product Disadvantages: is a pig to get music onto
I have had this mp3 player for almost 3 and a half years now and i can ohnestly say it has been fully tested ;).
the robustness of this thing cannot bebeat i have had it in almost 1-2 hours a day constant use for 3 1/2 years and has only developed one small fault and that is the text has rubbed off that is over 2000 hours of use!!
the memory format it usues is secure digital (SD) it wont accept MMC. these cards can be found from anything of 8mb ... ...1 gig as on ebay the 2 gig tends to be more money than worth spending on it.
sound quality ...well that basically depends on what bite rate you are playing at i reccomend using 192 kbps as you get maximum sound quality for headphones and space the layout is easy and simple to use, the volume controll is just above the SD card slot which is opperated by two simple buttons
The battery is put in by slipping one of the circular end points off (which ...

Nice player, shame about the software
Advantages: Incredibly tiny, fantastic sound quality Disadvantages: Poor software
...in the player. Alas, Panasonic insist that you use their software to transfer the files, and it stores them in SD1 format, which appears to have MP3-type headers, but won't play back in any other player that I've come across.
The LCD display is clear, but obviously limited in size, so there's no concept of scrolling down lists to choose tracks.
This player was quite expensive when I bought it, but it was worth it for the size, weight and excellent ... ...a compact player that sounds good, but I'd also recommend getting to know the software really well. I just let the software copy the files to the SD card, without setting up folders or albums, so I ended up with about 250 tracks in a single album, which makes them a lot more difficult to find.
I won't make that mistake again. ...

I love it
Advantages: Very small, great radio recption, upgradable memory and replacible battery Disadvantages: Can't drag and drop files, non-standard USB cable.
On my trip to Japan at the end of last summer I bought this little MP3 player. My last MP3 player one was an IAudio U2. After just one year it's battery died and it would have cost me $40 plus shipping to send it in and have it replaced. So for my next player I wanted to get one where I wouldn't run into that problem again.
The D-Snap SV-SD370V was perfect because when the rechargable battery died you can simply swap it out. It also has better radio ...

A mixed bag
Advantages: Slim, light, great screen, long battery life Disadvantages: requires software to encode audio files
The Panasonic SV-SD770V is a mixed bag, if you're looking at how well if does, or doesnt, do its job. Audio quality is top notch, though not the best we've heard, as the bass response is a little on the average side. Switching to a better pair of earphones helps immensely, but for out of the box earphones, this is pretty good.
The unit is small and easy to operate; the buttons are reasonably large and easy to push, with the overall controls being ... ...any trouble you might have is easily solved by a quick look through the manual.
The player is slim, and literally fits in the palm of your hand, making portability one less factor to worry about. Battery life is excellent, easily equalling the rated 150 hour operating time, mostly because the LCD autmatically turns off after some time to help save on battery power.
The only major nitpick would be with copying audio files over, as the package requires ...
