An excellent first MP3 player

Advantages: Excellent Quality
Disadvantages: Batterys Run Down Very Very Fast

My first every MP3 player which i purchased about 4 years ago whilst on holiday in spain. The first thing that struck me about the MP3 player was its crystal clear sound quality and how it was much better than tapes and indeed Compact Disk players. The second was how good it look and how easy it was to operate quickly and efficently. The only cownside i found to this product was that it uses batterys very fast and only holds about six songs with ...
...a memory upgrade and still use this player today. The player was a little bit pricey at arounds £250 but that was a long time ago and i am sure that prices have dropped. The songs are easy to upload to the device and are easy to remove. An excellent MP3 player that sounds great, looks good and is great for the busy person ...

Good value of money

Advantages: good value of money
Disadvantages: not very sure about how it looks like

I was trying to find a good but not very very expensive mp3 player for quite a while now...I didn't want to buy the best one around as technology improves day by day and the best and most expensive one would be worth of almost nothing soon. Then a friend of mine recommended me Rio600 and one from Sony...I admit tha tI like dth Sony one more but I didn't really want to spend 300 pounds for an mp3 player. 2 days later I actually went to a store and ...
...cheap to be very good but I realised tha tit is great. It does it's job! It looks quite modern and the quality of the sound is very good(if you buy new headphones of course).I didn't have problem with the batteries either.I normally use recharchable ones and of course the life span decreases with the use...but this mp3 player has the facility to recharge itself within 5 hours.Playing time is around 10 hours. Another good thing is that you can remove ...

To MP3 or not, that is the question

Advantages: Cool design, size, price now.
Disadvantages: Slightly underspecced now.

...these things are neat. The Rio I had was just 10cm long, 6cm wide and only fractionally over a single cm thick. That is tiny, tiny, tiny compared to my clunky old CD walkman. THE DESIGN I like the look of this Rio loads. It really knocks spots off my CD walkman in the cool stakes and even compared to more recent MP3 players this looks OK. The one I borrowed had a slightly brushed metal look to it which looked funky and modern. The design of the ...
...PORTABILITY I don't think the Rio quite measures up to some of the more recent MP3 players but even so this is OK. With the supplied player you can get just over one album on to the player. With an upgrade of a 64Mb memory card this increases to about 6 albums. That makes it significantly better than the CD player in this respect. PRICE This cost £169.99 I know they are significantly cheaper now so do shop around. For this price you would expect ...

little music maestro

Advantages: slim, compact, stylish, easy to use and plenty memory
Disadvantages: none that I have come across yet

I received this MP3 player for christmas, and I have to say I think it is fabulous. It is very compact and so easy to use. Contained in the box is your player, USB cable for downloading, software to manage your library, battery charger, carrying case, ear phones and even adapters for Europe and America for the charger. The menu is so simple to use, you can search by artist, album, track, year or even genre of music or simply play all of your tracks. ...
...handy for little messages as reminders. There is a stopwatch and a section which tells you how much memory you have used. I currently have 39 tracks on my player and have only used 191 MB of 4769, so you can see the capacity it has to hold a vast library. The rechargeable batteries also have a long life, with upto 20 hours playback between charges. The music manager software is very easy to use, you only need to drag and drop. As this is my first ...

This Rio makes me wanna dance!

Advantages: Very cute and tiny, great for a first MP3 player
Disadvantages: Low volume, can get scratched easily

...set my eyes upon the Rio Carbon Pearl addition I remember the first words coming out of my mouth were 'how cute is that?!'. In danger of sounding like Jessica Simpson from Newlyweds, I changed my choice of words to gorgeous, a little far fetched for an MP3 player, even in my weird mind. But I felt that he was and, from the specification, he sounded like a good little player, perfect for a novice like myself. So would the Rio Carbon live up to my ...
...from your computer to your Rio is simple and easy. All you do is plug the USB cable into your computer and click a few buttons, ready for your listening pleasures within a matter of seconds! Using the MP3 is great and very basic, perfect if this is your first time with one. There are so many different categories in which you can pick your poison with, including album name, artist name, year and genre, all of which you define on the computer. The ...
