The YP-U3 - A Pretty Practical Player
Review of Samsung YP-U3 1GB by Serleena

Advantages: cheap, touch sensitive controls, direct usb, easy to use, great sound
Disadvantages: screen damages if not looked after, only charges via USB, no photos/video

This MP3 Player was perfect for me. I can't stand clicky buttons, so the touch sensitive controls proved a perfect solution. For me, the IPod seemed to do not a lot for its price. The YP-U3 had FM radio and voice recording, both of which are very useful especially for recording lectures and finding out the latest news. The USB Port comes directly out of the player, so no wires etc are needed and it can even be used as a memory stick. And the USB ...
...would be expected. Its also good because you can either drag and drop music straight onto the player or use the software provided to help organise the music before you transfer it. The software is also easy to use. I found that the MP3 player was quite hard to operate at first, but after a few hours, it becomes so easy! This MP3 is simple but practical. I got it in black as it is smart and scratches don't show. The screen is very pleasing to the ... Read review

Finally an mp3 player with no flaws!
Review of Samsung YP-U3 2GB black by rik13

Advantages: High quality, good price, great performance, great look and durable
Disadvantages: Couldn't find any

I've had this wonderful little mp3 player for a couple of months now and it can do no wrong by me, i love it! It comes with 2gb of memory, in my opinion that's perfect, roughly 500 songs is enough for me lol, it is has flash memory so you can use it as a memory stick as well and not just for music. It looks very stylish and the buttons are very cool. It is also very durable, i've lost count of how many times i've dropped and there is not a scratch ...
...also comes with a surprisingly useful set of headphones and is available in 5 different colours black, pink, green, white and light blue. The battery life is very good, it claims 15 hours and i have had that out of it. I used it just last week on a train journey that took 2 hours and when i got home i just put it down and forgot to turn it of, as i woke up the next morning it was still playing music, so the battery is very good. The sound quality ... Read review

Samsung YP-T10 8GB
Review of Samsung YP-T10 8GB by effy13

Advantages: sleek but simple - a great alternative to ipods, with the added bonus of bluetooth
Disadvantages: faulty touchscreen keys, slow scrolling

...had numerous problems installing the Samsung software on my computer. Eventually it installed, but I found the Samsung music organiser not as convenient or easy to use as Windows Media Player, so I still use that to syncronise my music to the player. Since buying it, I am regularly shown new downloads to update the player, which I have found easy to install. On the whole I have actually noticed that these updates have made a visible improvement to ...
...charge it with a standard Samsung phone charger. The Bluetooth function was one of the key features that attracted me to this product at first. It's brilliant for transferring music and pictures from mobile phones etc, and you can also set it up to work as the keypad(this is a bit too fiddly though) and headphones for your phone, meaning it will pause the track while you recieve a call though the player, working as a handsfree set. Definately the ... Read review

Samsung MP3 player, 2GB or 4GB
Review of Samsung YP-Z5QS 2 GB by Jamesy123

Advantages: Affordable, reliable, easy to use and transfer songs to
Disadvantages: memory may not be big enough for all people, pictures are slow

Having had this MP3 player now for nearly 2 years, I have not had any problems with it. It is very reliable, never crashes, freezes etc on me, is really easy to put music on, and is at a very reasonable price, even the 4GB is very affordable and very durable, I have dropped mine countless times without any problems. Something you may not think of is that the screen is very clear and easy to use in all lights(brightness of screen can also be altered) ...
...to people who have a large music library, but are often able to change the music on the MP3 player due to the 2GB only holding around 500 songs, and the 4GB holding around 1000 songs. Fits easily into ipod nano(older shape) pouches therefore good for sports etc. one downfall is that the picture viewer can be a bit sluggish, and I found having pictures on slowed down the whole system(longer to load songs etc) However very good MP3 player and I would ... Samsung YP-U2R 2GB
Review of Samsung YP-U2R 2GB by GerlofL

Advantages: Samsung, lot of space, lasts heavy use.
Disadvantages: It can only charge through USB.

...product I have had from Samsung was great and longlasting, with usually the options you want on that product. This is a 2GB ( 1964MB? ) MP3 player, even though it supports alot of other audiofiles. It will not play videos or display pictures, its pure music. ---- Functions ----- The obvious ones first: Hold - Unless you slide it from hold again no button will respond. Next - Play next track ( does not work in 'hold' ) Prev - Play previous track ...
...Add 1 to the volume ( to a maximum of '30' ) Minus - Subtract 1 of the volume ( to a minimum of '0' ) The cool ones next: M - Menu, okay, enter, it pretty much just works as the button you need, it rocks, its nice and solid, and nicely positioned in the center of 4 buttons. User/ *red dot* - Means Record, this is where you can record audio files yourself, and the mic picks up quite alot of sound, and the quality is reasonable. One problem, it ... Read review
