Sansa's small mp3 player makes a big splash Advantages: Big detailed sound, lots of features, lots of volume, the price Disadvantages: Only to be bought as a present for someone else if you have a better one I recently purchased one of these mp3 players for my mum having noticed it in the Argos Catalgoue. Having owned an mp3 player for the last year I have quickly took to the benefits of having hundreds or indeed thousands of songs at your fingertips. When the player arrived, I was surprised at just how small this player is, it looked unassuming and compact on the illustration but was not expecting something so miniature. Firstly the mp3 player has a nice design and layout, it is easy to navigate through the range of options which include listening to all music, music by artist, by category etc. You also have the option of adding bass boost to the player which initially I felt lift the weight of the music and give it a fuller feel. would recommend Advantages: Good product Disadvantages: Hard loading songs on to Found it a bit complicated with three settings for the USB connection, but once once I managed to work it out its a great little box. Documentary assistance pretty poor but onsite user forum I found was excellent. If you wish to only want to play music this is fantastic, although you may wish to purchase different headphones though as the ones supplied are not of the best quality. Expandable memory is great, and not universally available at this ... ...price!!! Not sure if I would have paid the full price for this item as it was abit much. The sound and quality is really very good. The design is unique, stilish, and compact. A good shape. It does state 20 hrs battery life which mines was infact not but over all a good product. Incredibly small, great sound, great price. Advantages: Tiny, cheap, plenty of features for the price Disadvantages: No bundled charger, requires ID3 tags I've wanted an MP3 player for years, but could never justify spending more than about £30-£40 on one; An iPod was out of the question. Then I read other reviews of this little thing, and bought it; not just for the price (only £25) but because of the sound quality. And it is small. The whole package is only about the size of a cigarette packet, and that's with a manual, ear-buds and a mini-CD. The player itself is tiny - about the size of a ... ...The player has a sliding on/off switch on the left-hand side, and this switch can also be moved into a "hold" position - effectively a keypad lock - so the Clip cannot be accidentally be switched back off (or on). Look into the blue light! Sandisk Sansa M240 1 GB MP3 Player Advantages: great sound quality, plenty of functions, simple, easy to use, nice display colour! Disadvantages: occasional 'crashes', mine won't transfer files any more :-( ...years ago I bought a Sandisk Sansa M240 1 GB mp3 player from Amazon, it was quite a bargain price, seemed pretty simple and straightforward, which was ideal for me as I had never had one before, and didn't require many bells and whistles, and it came with all the headphones, cables, and driver disks you need to begin use. Mine also came with a clear silicon case to protect it. It is light, it is small, and it works well. For a budget mp3 player I ... ...good too. I hooked it up to my pc with the supplied cable, and copied over a my Learn German series so I could listen to them anywhere, learning the language subliminally perhaps, and this has also worked very well. It actually will store up to 16 hours of mp3 tracks, or double if they're in wma format. I like to make up playlists in Windows Media Player on my PC, then transfer them across, couldn't be simpler, just drag and drop!
