Advantages: Battery life, Size Disadvantages: Pixels on the screen
...I bought my MSI Wind around a year ago, I have since fallen in love with it, bbut come to hate it on occasions!
It is brilliant for the creation of Word Documents and is a good way to carry about my Business documents, however in terms of Pure processing power, it falls down flat on its face.
The MSI Wind boasts a Dual Core 1.6 GHz processor (which means 2 800Mhz Cores). If the processor wasn't a dual core, I dont think it could even run windows! The second drawback would be the screen pixels. A little over 10 inches is the perfect size for a Laptop screen in my opinion. However, the MSI Wind has sacrificed the number of pixels to create this smaller screen. The screen is 1024x600. Which means that games that require a minimum of 1024 x 768 etc, will NOT run on the laptops native screen, and thus you will have to plug it into...

Advantages: Cheap and easy to use Disadvantages: No optical drive, battery not amazing
...The Advent 4211 is an often overlooked re-branded version of the MSI Wind.
It is powered by the Intel Atom 1.6GHZ processor and has 1GB RAM as standard which I upgraded to 2GB. My version has the 80GB hard drive which is plenty of space for me. I find the 10.2in monitor just big enough to be comfortable and wouldn't recommend going for any Netbooks with 8in monitors as they would be a little small. It runs a cut down version of XP Home with ease and can cope with most general office type tasks with no problem. There is no optical drive so I purchased a very cheap CD drive which is fine if the Advent is a secondary laptop. I would recommend buying a more expensive optical drive if you don't have access to another laptop.
The biggest problem I had with the Advent was when I crashed it. There is no recovery disc as it has an internal...

Advantages: Ample Memory for an AGP, Fits in mATX Cases, No Noise, Low Power, Overclockable Disadvantages: AGP Slot, No DirectX 10 Support, Max Anisotrophy x4
...The MSI GeForce 7600GT is an AGP graphics card with DirectX 9 support and basic video, analog and DVI sockets.
It comes in a large box with an analog to digital adapter, installation manual, overclocking specifications, a driver CD with MSI's software, bundled with Adobe Reader and other free programs.
This review summarises the product's advantages and disadvantages for a user with an older AGP-equipped motherboard. If your computer has PCI-E support, skip this card. All criteria in this review are regarding AGP cards only. So is the rating.
AGP?
Some of you might wonder what's the point in getting an AGP card these days. The answer is simple: some users simply do not wish to buy a new motherboard just for a PCI-E slot. Moreover, AGP cards still can provide you enough performance to boot and run games on high...
