Advantages: Low Cost, High Performance, Good Built Quality, Almost latest hardware support Disadvantages: No PCI-E Slot, Only 2 RAM Slots, Low Integrated GFX
...I'm using this product from a year. I bought a budgeted system containing MSI K8MM-V MoBo, AMD Sempron 2800+, 768 MB DDR 400MHz RAM, Sony DVD-RW DRU 170A, LG CD-RW/DVD-ROM, 80+80 WD SATA.
And the system is serving me very fine. The MotherBoard support 64 BIT AMD k8 processors upto AMD Athlon 3700+ [Socket 754] and upto 2 GB of DDR 266/333/400 DDR SDRAM.
It support almost all AGP 8x Graphic Cards but ATI one's are some what better than nVIdia.
3 PCI slots give you enough expandability. Two SATA and TWO IDE ports can accomodate upto 6 Drives [2 SATA and 4 IDE Drives]. It support UDMA 66/100/133 modes supporting upto 150 MB/s transfer.
In other words it is SUPERB....

Advantages: Durable, easy to use, stacked with features Disadvantages: Only four memory slots, slow speed with four memory modules
...I currently have this motherboard in my computer system. I have so far had no major technical issues with it and have enjoyed every minute. I am running it with a AMD 64 3800+, 4x512 MB PC3200 Kingston Hyper X memory modules, a Western Digital 10,000 RPM Raptor 69GB Hard drive, a bog standard Samsung DVDdrive and a Nvidia 7800 GTX graphics card.
The above components are all quite expensive and I knew I would have to choose a suitable motherboard to fit them into. I first came across the board whilst searching the internet, it seemed a reasonable price for the specs included. Now that I have it working I can tell you it runs just about anything you can find, well game wise anyway. I have never experienced any sort of system crash and the updates from MSI to bios and drivers have always installed without a problem. One of the most...

Advantages: All the latest connections Disadvantages: have not found any
...I Purchased this motherboard on 31/03/04.
The installation was simple with no problems, I used the amd athlon 64 3200+ Processor, the Maxtor Diamondmax Plus 9 120Gb 7200rpm 8mb Cache ATA133 Hard disk, 350w power supply, the Sapphire Radeon 9600 AGP X8 256MB Video Card and the LG 8x DVD DUAL R/RW/RAM IDE BURNER drive.
I would recommend this motherboard over all the others firstly because it is made by Asus which is a leading company with a lot of experience. Secondly they always give all the leads and connectors, screws etc needed to get you up and running.
The software provided is very good and easy to install and use.
I have build a large quantity of computers over the years using other cheaper motherboards like msi and have had problems and crashes etc.
I hope this reveiw helps you....
