the I pod touch makes it quite a different and unique. The I pod touch is capable of storing large capacity of information well what actually do you think of a device that that has 8gb memory space. Like I wrote above, it is capable of 1500 to 1700 songs and on the other hand, capable of storing 10,000 pictures and also capable of playing video for the duration of 10 hours.
In terms of videos, you can equally upload videos just like in music. You can upload movie but the issue with it is that the more you videos you put, the less you space

For the same price I paid for my 2nd generation 4GB Nano I got my 8GB4th generation! As always, the price for an iPod is slightly higher than that of its rivals, but in my opinion its worth the extra money! ...

Therefore, the iPod Nano would be a better choice as it is compact, much smaller and more likely to remain intact for 4/5 years or longer.
