easy to take songs around friends houses and copy songs too and from it.
There arent many disadvantages to this player. Perhaps the main one is the capacity.

Unfortunatly the capactiy is only 256mb, and flash based drives go up to 2GB or perhaps even 4GB now. As this is only 256mb you can fit around 30 songs on it in normal quality 128kbps, but if you compress them you can get around 80 on there. I have to warn you though, compressed songs played back on this player sound terrible. You really notice the difference in quality.

Unfortunatly. the player is USB 1.1, this means that its 40x slower than that of USB 2, so if you're transfering 256mb of data in one go, go away, make a cup of tea and come back, if you're lucky it might be done. If not, go and take a power nap, recharge ...

The MSI is a great little music player. It has a memory of 128mb so you can save 128 mb of MP3 or WMA. Alonside of that it has a Radio that you can preset your favorite station and you can even record the radio live.
There is a small microphone built into the MegaStick but you can insert your own into the spare mic port. With this you can record your own messages and upload them to your computer

The music quality depends on how you get it to your computer, Downloaded or uploaded from a CD using Windows media player or the software included.

I own 2 DS Lites, my son has one and my partner does, they come in a great range of colours Black,White,Pink and the newer Blue.
The touch screen on them is great, it makes the games so much more fun and with games like super mario you get mini games that all use the touch screen and they are great fun.
As for the size of it well i carnt complain its small quite slim and light! hence the name.
As for the age recomended on these my son has had one since last christmas and at the time he was 3! and after about a day learnt how to use it better than me lol. some games can be akward for smaller children but the likes of super mario, mario kart, shrek,cars ect are great for them.
Its also very durable my son has dropped his on tiled floor, sat on it and god knows what else and its fine, its also very easy to keep clean.
