There arent many disadvantages to this player. Perhaps the main one is the capacity.

Unfortunatly the capactiy is only 256mb, and flash based drives go up to 2GB or perhaps even 4GB now. As this is only 256mb you can fit around 30 songs on it in normal quality 128kbps, but if you compress them you can get around 80 on there. I have to warn you though, compressed songs played back on this player sound terrible. You really notice the difference in quality.
----------USB 1.1----------
Unfortunatly. the player is USB 1.1, this means that its 40x slower than that of USB 2, so if you're transfering 256mb of data in one go, go away, make a cup of tea and come back, if you're lucky it might be done. If not, go and take a power nap, recharge ...

It is also very small and sleek and is probably similar size to a credit card - though of course a bit thicker. I think it looks really cool and is great and compact.
Benefits:
This memory unit being of only 512mb can be used in the whole for storing game saves which of course can be very important and need to be saved and kept somewhere safe - and this is the perfect option. You can also store your xbox live account on here as well as putting some pictures and maybe some music on here. This will all of course be limited to 512mb. You can also download and save stuff from the xbox live marketplace, but again you will be limited to how much you can download ...

The MSI is a great little music player. It has a memory of 128mb so you can save 128 mb of MP3 or WMA. Alonside of that it has a Radio that you can preset your favorite station and you can even record the radio live.
There is a small microphone built into the MegaStick but you can insert your own into the spare mic port. With this you can record your own messages and upload them to your computer
