...I recently bought this laptop for the business I work in. Naturally every user/company buys a laptop for different needs. In our case we required a laptop which could be easily adaptable for multimedia purposes, with its main function being that of outputting video to a projector. The possibility of the future need for editing was kept in mind.
Compared to other laptops on the market, this one features a good processor, with an adequate 1Gb of RAM. From the onset the trade-off seemed to be the 12inch screen. I admit many users would prefer a larger screen but since our needs were mainly for output to a projector the 12inch screen did not bother us much. As far as video output is concerned the laptop features a standard VGA 15 pin port as well as an HDMI-out, currently the best possible output on the market.

...I always get a good response when people have a look at this lap top. It is a great looking machine. The screen is great, bright and very good graphics. The keys are sharp and user friendly boasting a full keyboard and number pad.
Plenty of USB ports and the dvd drive is good. The down point is most possibly the sound but nothing a seperate speaker set would not fix. As for usability whislt travelling the battery i have on mine ios short at 3hours but more likel 1.5 - 2 if using heavily. Speed is fine and adding programmes has been glitch free.
All in all this is a great lap top, however, i am only using mine for word processing music storgae and research. Yet all in all i have been very happy with this product....

Advantages: Great performance, overclocking friendly. Disadvantages: Noisy and kicks out alot of heat.
.... Installation was quick and easy, and I was benchmarking the new card within 15 mins of taking it out the bag.
For the benchmark figures I best give you a quick spec list of my PC :- Athlon 2000XP+ , 512 MB 2700 PCI RAM, MSI KT333 ULTRA motherboard and my new graphics card. Previous score with my MX440 and the same system as above on 3DMARK was 3800, new score 9200 !!! After playing Deus Ex and X2 the threat I can confirm I can now play in max resolution with all options turned to max (except antialiasing and shadows) and still get 60+ fps, with the added bonus of having all the fancy eye candy present and correct.
Overclocking on this card is simple as MSI have provided a windows based overclocking program where you simply hi the AUTO button and the processor and memory is increased in 1 mhz steps untill it crashes and then will reboot...

I got this as a Christmas present last year as i needed a laptop to do school work surf the internet and just th usual sorts of things. This laptop is great for that and more.
