and just under 3 hours of normal work on it, it is a great choice for video and music playback. Its brightness and screen quality also helps for this. It's also very good for multimedia tasks such as video editing because of a built in firewire port and an S-video output. It is let down on how solidly built it is though. It feels quite flimsy but this shouldn't be a problem if you are using it for your average house user but its probably not one to let your kids play around with. So all round its pretty impressive on the power side of things and good for multimedia work but its main let down is the keyboard set out. I would recomend it to you if you were looking for a laptop for about £500 which you would use for quite simple tasks and maybe play a few games on it but if you would be annoyed by the keyboard its really not worth it. ...

MSI Wind U100 Notebook

Advantages: Battery life, Size
Disadvantages: Pixels on the screen

I bought my MSI Wind around a year ago, I have since fallen in love with it, bbut come to hate it on occasions! It is brilliant for the creation of Word Documents and is a good way to carry about my Business documents, however in terms of Pure processing power, it falls down flat on its face. The MSI Wind boasts a Dual Core 1.6 GHz processor (which means 2 800Mhz Cores). If the processor wasn't a dual core, I dont think it could even run windows! The second drawback would be the screen pixels. A little over 10 inches is the perfect size for a Laptop screen in my opinion. However, the MSI Wind has sacrificed the number of pixels to create this smaller screen. The screen is 1024x600. Which means that games that require a minimum of 1024 x 768 etc, will NOT run on the laptops native screen, and thus you will have to plug it into ...
