Portability is a main feature in nay notebook and every manufacturer is trying to give best portable and affordable notebook to its customers. Every well known brand have some good portable models in their notebook list and here I am going to discuss about MSI's 10" category ultra portable notebook with its good features and advantages as well as some disadvantages also.

Design and look
Notebook is very handy with its affordable size, and it has been measured as Width26 cm Depth18 cm Height3.2 cm and total weight is about 1.1 kg. if we consider its depth than it is not in ultra thin category and this is more than 2cm of Apple's Macbook pro. So the design is similar to other general notebooks but weight is very low with 1.1kg.

Processing speed
Processor is latest with Intel Atom N270 clock speed is 1.6 GHz. This is a new processor from Intel to provide ultra portability feature in notebook and it has been adopted by many other notebook like Apple's Macbook air and many more. Processor has good speed in its oven category. Previously we had Celeron and centrino processors specially made for notebook users and they are good speed processors also but due to their size and shape there are some problem with ultra portable processor to install them but now a good processor latest technology is available with Intel Atom, and this is a fit processor for this category of notebooks.

Memory size
Memory size is not such good but according to this notebook is sufficient enough with 1 GB DDR2 SDRAM - 667 MHz of total speed. Notebook also supports maximum 2 GB of RAM. Now if we have a look on RAM than 1 GB is good for use in Windows XP but it is something less for Windows Vista. Now the point is that XP is more user friendly and well known operating system with very easy access. But Vista is latest and more advanced and it requires four times more space in hard disk to install it. So in this category of notebook there are more implementation are required in terms of Ram and hard disk space.
Internal memory size is also average with 80 GB hard disk drive but it is enough for use in windows XP and les for Windows Vista. As this notebook comes with already installed windows XP so that there is no problem with its storage capacity.

Graphics memory
There is nothing new in graphics memory and it has traditional graphics card for ultrathin notebook or previous generation notebooks with Intel GMA 950 Dynamic Video Memory Technology 3.0. good memory for routine use but very less for latest applications.

Display size is slightly different than other notebook in category and it is 10" TFT display screen with 1024 x 600 ( WSVGA ), wide screen display.

Other important features are its high definition audio, integrated webcam, networking card etc. but the battery back-up is slightly lower with only 3 cell battery and as per its size it should be more than his.

Over all it is a good notebook for portability function and good installed features.
