The Advent 4211 is an often overlooked re-branded version of the MSI Wind.
It is powered by the Intel Atom 1.6GHZ processor and has 1GB RAM as standard which I upgraded to 2GB. My version has the 80GB hard drive which is plenty of space for me. I find the 10.2in monitor just big enough to be comfortable and wouldn't recommend going for any Netbooks with 8in monitors as they would be a little small. It runs a cut down version of XP Home with ease and can cope with most general office type tasks with no problem. There is no optical drive so I purchased a very cheap CD drive which is fine if the Advent is a secondary laptop. I would recommend buying a more expensive optical drive if you don't have access to another laptop. The biggest problem I had with the Advent was when I crashed it. There is no recovery disc as it has an internal recovery partition. If you buy one don't make my mistake. The very first thing you should do is make a bootable USB recovery device as Advent say to do!! It is extremely simple you just need a 2GB or over USB flash drive and follow the instructions. I ended up having to get an XP disc and re-install from scratch which was a pain.
If you want a decent spec Netbook and don't want to break the bank then go for the Advent. They are going for less than 250 pounds and you can get them even cheaper going through cashback sites.
