Manufacturer's product description
MobilePre USB is the preamp with a built-in audio interface that's designed for laptop recording such as field recording and sampling expeditions. In fact, it's one of the only completely bus-powered preamps available. (Of course, you can use it on the desktop as well.) A total of three kinds of audio inputs and outputs provide maximum flexibility for any application - including two on-board microphone/instrument preamps and high-impedance instrument inputs ideal for connecting guitars and basses. And unlike many competitors, zero-latency direct monitoring provides you with a streamlined professional recording experience.

Advantages: Easy to install, easy to use, fast burn speed! Disadvantages: Poor software bundle
...I’ve bought this product base on my friend’s recommendation. The software installation is very quick. Unlike the other burners that use Nero, This one has its own burning software called Hotburn. It doesn’t support a digital Audio extraction. I notice that Iomega is particularly quieter than my Liteon Cd Burner. It uses the USB 2.0 connection but I think you also use the old USB but it will be much slower. I’m quite impressed of the sleek design it’s just simple.
The front panel includes the headphone jack, volume control, status light, and eject button. On the back, you'll find an RCA audio output jack for connecting the drive to your computer's sound card. When it comes to speed this external cd rw drive can also compete with the top internal drives. I took just under 50 sec. to burn 27 minute track. Packet writing in Hotburn...

Advantages: Comfortable, good quality sound, excellent microphone Disadvantages: Bit bulky for my laptop bag
...box any day - easier to get into and environmentally friendly!
Documentation was sparse, but then who needs volumes of manual for a pair of headphones. OK, so they are USB and PC attached, which may start to worry those who are not technically inclined and who need some support of a good manual.
Fortunately, Sennheiser have mastered Plug and Play. These are truly the best plug-and-play device I have ever installed.
The headphones have a small USB widget inline between standard mini jacks for audio and microphone and a USB plug. This small box is a USB soundcard.
I popped the USB plug into an available USB socket, and Windows XP popped up, whirred for a bit and told me my new Audio device was ready for use. That was it ... no CD, no downloads, no "This driver has not passed testing". Windows was even smart enough to set the Sennheisers...

Advantages: small storage - and portable Disadvantages: best only for text data files
...of space that the USB Drive has available in storage. The device will allow that amount of memory on the key/stick at one time. When the key/stick is full the file will be rejected from the drive and a prompt will state that their was not enough memory in the drive to complete the file transfer; so to solve the problem; files will have to be deleted.

The price for a 128MB flash drive is £5.99, I got mine from the Dell accessory section with my PC order. I give it 9/10 value for money.
# My verdict #
The 128MB is hardly a mass amount of data storage these days, but still they have a use. I recommend that the 128MB sticks should only store text data files within Word/Excel applications. No room for audio and video files alike; or any media orientated data files. The Dell memory stick is a big must for the office. They are very good...

This was the first soundcard I purchased, about 4 years ago at £60, it was and still is an absolute bargain!
While this is certainly an entry level professional soundcard, with 2in/2out, it's been designed carefully and with as much detail as... more
