M-AUDIO KEYRIG 49 IS A FANTASTIC PRODUCT

Advantages: Pitch control and mod wheel
Disadvantages: no presets

The M-AUDIO KEYRIG 49 is a fantastic bit of kit when you are trying to lay down a new backing track it has all the basic features including mod wheel, pitch control and even its own volume control so you can change the level of the instrument you are using on the music production software that you own.... I personally own this product i use this everyday and have never found a single problem with this..... it works with most music production software, such as Proppellerhead Reason 4, Cubase, Fruity loops, Logic Pro In my opinion i belive this product is great and is worth the money, and from my point of veiw a home studio is not complete with out one because i think that they are fantastic easy to use and overall FANTASTIC ...

Advantages: looks fantastic works brilliantly and value for money
Disadvantages: the software

M-audio keyrig 49 is a fantastic midi keyboard i use it on a program called propellerhead reason because i am all into music when i first got this m-audiio keyboard i was really excited and the excitment just carried on and on while i was plugging it in and while i was installing it i was so excited and as soon as i started playing on the keyboard it was the most fantastic peace of equipment all the was down to the octave selection key very easy to use fantastic peace of deigning looks for me are the best just plain and simple if there had to be a problem with it. it would have to be the software that they give free with it called keyrig not the best software ...

Pro Studio in your back pocket!!

Advantages: supports high sample rates; ADAT i/o capabilities; too many
Disadvantages: no hardware monitoring

I have recently bought this little interface, and I have to tell you... it is great. Before I go any further, for those of you who are not 100% confident in some of the Audio Engineering terminology, I will be leaving notes explaining what certain terms mean throughout this review. I work with Logic Studio 8 and Pro Tools M-Powered and this allows me to use both on my Macbook, wherever I go. I use it for editing purposes only at the moment, thus having an interface that supports 96Khz/24-bit (i.e. higher definition audio). However, this little interface has two optical ports (ADAT), an in and an out, giving you a possible total of eight channels in and eight channels out (in 44.1KHz/16-bit, which is CD quality audio). This means that if you buy a channel strip of 8 preamps (such as the Focusrite Octopre LE or the Presonus Digimax ...
