Advantages: weighted action, USB connection Disadvantages: confusing manual and confusing parameters
...This is pretty much the cheapest and best Midi Controller that I found almost two years ago and things don't seem to have changed much since then. The weighted keys are a major plus, especially to give the musicians that come and record with me a grand piano feel for their performance. I didn't need to install any drivers and a simple USB connection got me working with Logic Pro 7 straight away. However, none of the other features seemed to bit easy to use. They didn't really do much and still don't. The manual is really confusing and I don't recommend anyone to mess with the factory parameters especially if you are using Logic. I guarantee you will be spending hours getting it back to normal again....

Advantages: Light, Durable. Practible! Disadvantages: Not many keys.
...Absolute brilliant piece of hardware. If you're like me and produce music from home in your studio or just getting started out in producting music. Then this is for you! Do you use Ableton Live, Sonar 6, Reason, or Logic? This piece of hardware will connect so simply through USB. It will work even if your computer is not that good!
The 8 knobs are very useful for live recordings and effects. The keyboard is touch sensitive. Very cheap price as well.
There is no worryin about about practibility on this product. You can take piece of simple, great hardware anyway you like. If you are performing live and want to take this to your performance you can. It's really really light. Great product, simple to use and very ractical. Have fun making music!!...

Advantages: well made and easy to use Disadvantages: positioning of front and back ports can get cluttered
...Amongst audio interfaces this is unique for having both audio/midi ports as well as the light-up top knob and buttons. These can be asisgned to functions in a wide range of audio DAWs from Apple's Garageband to Logic and Cubase. The unit is simple to install and use although I did have to download the latest drivers for it to be recognised on a USB port. With two audio inputs, guitar and a microphone or other instruments can be quickly setup. The back plate includes MIDI in and out ports to complete the connectivity. Once connected it immediately offers high-end audio clarity and 3ms latency which ensures you hear straightaway the music you're playing. Although this unit is now a few years old, its sturdy construction and versatility make it a better option than the newer Guitar Rig Sessions 3 XE device....

This was the first soundcard I purchased, about 4 years ago at £60, it was and still is an absolute bargain!
While this is certainly an entry level professional soundcard, with 2in/2out, it's been designed carefully and with as much detail as... more
