This buggy does have an option to clip a Maclaren toddler seat to the front, but I can't comment on that as haven't got it.

...travel system.
The Maclaren MX3 is incredibly easy to steer, not really wide like a lot of three wheelers, (good for shopping), very large shopping basket, easy to clean, very funky looking. It feels sturdy, but although not a lightweight buggy it's still under 10 kg.
The Maclaren MX3 is 'all terrain' but I've only tried it a couple of times on rough ground - it is very good however.Wheels are large and plastic - despite not being ... ...facility to lock the front wheel if you want take it 'off road'.
The handle is really comfy (squashy foam type stuff so it doesn't get sweaty) and height adjustable, but you can't hang anything off it as it's a single rail, although as the shopping basket is very spacious I haven't found this a problem yet - and I was always concerned that ANY pram with bags hanging off was at risk of tipping.

Fantastic travel system !
I have used from birth. We had the carrycot option in addition to the buggy and Recaro car seat - and it all works really well together - and you can use the carrycot separately like a moses basket too.
Used with the Recaro car seat option so as not to wake the baby when going shopping - the car seat is easy to release and fit onto buggy chassis - looks cool too. Just open the pram, click down the brake and slot it on. I looked up reviews on the Recaro profi plus car seat before buying - excellent safety scores especially when used with the Isofix base, which we got (and also bought the next seat up which fits the same isofix base for when baby is older). Excellent head support.

Our MX3 buggy has a different coloured pram liner in lime which looks REALLY good against the storm grey. The harness is excellent, and the nicely padded and comfy seat reclines fully so you can use the 'buggy only option' from birth if you didn't want to buy the whole travel system. The Maclaren MX3 is incredibly easy to steer, not really wide like a lot of three wheelers, (good for shopping), very large shopping basket, easy to clean, very funky looking. It feels sturdy, but although not a lightweight buggy it's still under 10 kg. The Maclaren MX3 is 'all terrain' but I've only tried it a couple of times on rough ground - it is very good however.Wheels are large and plastic - despite not being air tyres, suspension seemed really good and it has the facility to lock the front wheel if you want take it 'off road'. Other buggy features: it has a zippable viewing window in the hood, also quite a bit more more storage in the back of the hood (easy to access). The hood also has a pull down see through visor thing if it's just lightly raining - and this clips back with velcro when not in use. Raincover fits well and was included. Folds easily to go in the car boot - this isn't an umbrella fold - if you imagine standing behind the pram - you pull the relevant levers either side and push the handle forward so it goes towards the front wheel. All in all a well designed and extremely attractive travel system. Not that cheap for the whole travel system - but is a well known reliable brand - and in my opinion it was well worth it.
