Advantages Advantages robust but compact; perfect for travelling

Disadvantages Disadvantages brakes are difficult to operate

When my wee one was nearing her first birthday, we decide that it was the right time for her to make her first visit to her grandparents in Hong Kong. We had put it off up until this point as we felt she was too young to take on a long haul journey, and we were too tired to contemplate the logistics of travelling with all the baby paraphernalia. The main item that we needed to purchase to make our air travel and stay in Hong Kong as easy and stress free as possible, was a decent buggy. With this in mind, we went in search of the 'perfect' travel buggy. It had to be lightweight and compact but ... more

Advantages Advantages Great to steer and good on public transport

Disadvantages Disadvantages The cover is not that easy to replace when washed

·Hope this review helps if you are thinking about buying a new stroller. ·The title is my hubby's own words as he saw a large box being delivered to my house. I was hoping it would arrive when he was at work and I could sneak my purchase in. My husband in disgust thought I had gone over the edge with spending as I own three other forms of infant transport. He really could not comprehend my need for another buggy. However after owning this a few months now, he is glad I did make that initial purchase. · Bear in mind this is a stroller. I currently have a pram, a tandem buggy and an umbrella ... more

    Advantages Advantages very comfortable,light,folds well

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none yet!

I wanted to buy a second light weight buggy to keep in the boot of my car and to take on holiday.I wanted a buggy which was not only light but would recline ,be easy to fold and include a rain cover/sun shade.I also wanted a buggy with a large seat to enable my toddler to sleep in comfort. I spent some time looking on the internet(as you do)at the various models available and comparing prices.I have always liked Maclaren buggys and was interested in both the quest and the more expensive techno. The techno is a lot more expensive than the quest(about £50)and is suitable from birth as it reclines ... more

Advantages Advantages Great for toddlers when you want easy control and lightweight handling

Disadvantages Disadvantages Wouldn't necessarily recommend for babies, but it's personal choice

When our son was just a little kidney bean in my wife's tummy, we didn't have a clue about what pram would be the best for us. Let's be honest: it's pretty impossible to guess when it's your firstborn and you're not experienced in parenting. We bought a big, safe buggy that was more like a cross between a tank and a Transformer than anything else. The only drawback with this was the size of the thing, which we found hard to lug about the place. As our son grew older, we considered options. The reason we had the previous buggy was really because of the safety and the fact of having to get a ... more

Advantages Advantages Light, Easy to Use, Compact, Sturdy

Disadvantages Disadvantages Brakes no good, Expensive

This pram saved my life! Well, let's not exaggerate, this pram saved my back! I bought a Bugaboo travel system when my baby was born, and it was perfect for her when she was a newborn as the carrycot was very comfortable. Even when we converted the carrycot into the reclined seat, she still liked sitting in it and we still enjoyed wheeling it around. But as baby got heavier and heavier, the combined weight of the Bugaboo and baby just got the better of me and so I bought a Maclaren Quest to complement the Bugaboo. At 5.5kg, the Maclaren Quest weighs less than my growing baby, so I find that I ... more
