“Tiny twinkling teeth!”

published 06/07/2005

ProGentle for tiny teeth.

ConsPackaging not too alluring for little ones.

I first came across MacCleans Milk Teeth toothpaste immediately after my son was born in 2002. There was a trial size tube in the Bounty pack that you receive at the hospital. I held onto this dear little tube (cute like a baby!) until my son's first tooth came through at six months old. Whoopee...

When it came to choosing a toothpaste for my daughter six years ago when she started teething, I knew what a big decision it was. I have always looked after my teeth and I know how important it is to get children started off at an early age. With there being so many infant toothpastes out there...

It comes in a 50ml white tube and very clearly states on the front in different coloured letters 'Milk Teeth',there is also a little blue band that goes around the tube with A,B and C in green,yellow...

Pronice flavours, nice smells

Cons-

Since my daughter sprouted her first gnashers I have been in there like a rocket with her tiny soft toothbrush and training toothpaste twice a day. At first it was a hard job convincing her not to clamp her mouth shut trapping the toothbrush and inevitably sucking the living daylights out of it...

Well, as my daughter has grown two teeth almost overnight it seems I decided that I should start as we mean to go on and begin cleaning them morning and night to get her used to the routine. The Packaging~~~ Well, this was a freebie in my bounty packs so it is only a 17ml version but it is...

Satisfactory

Prois specially for milk teeth

Consdoesn't seem to be really cleaning teeth

The packaging is boring and needs bringing to life... maybe by doing something pink for girls and blue for boys. The colour of the toothpaste is off-putting- reminds me of the old Ajax bath cleaner. The taste- ah um, I think my child would have preferred a different flavour. Did I as an anxious...

Until very recently my children always used Macleans Milk Teeth toothpaste. You can get it in mild mint or strawberry flavour and because Macleans make it you automatically feel that they must know what they are doing. We mainly used the mild mint flavour and the last time I bought it it was...

I got a free sample of this in my hospital newborn pack - it is only a 17ml tube but as a baby's mouth is so tiny, a little goes a long way! If you were to buy this toothpaste, you are looking at 95p for a 50ml tube (in Boots) so it doesn't exactly break the bank! Macleans milk teeth is a...

I bought this in a hurry for my son one day as the toothpaste I couldn't find the toothpaste I usually buy him in the shop I was in. It comes in a tube, which is easy enough to open, although I have a job getting my son to use this one as his usual toothpaste has pictures on the front of the tube...

When my son got his first tooth through we started to look at all the available toothpastes for little ones and came across the macleans training toothpaste in the local supermarket. It cost £1.25 for a 50 ml tube and it has a minty taste which is mild enough for them not to want to spit it out...

Ok, im going to hold my hands up now and admit that ' yes', i am one of these completely over-protective mothers, the sort that goes into total panick mode the moment one of the first milk teeth appears inside my childrens mouths- desperate to make sure the little 'tooty peg' as they are fondly...
