    Advantages Advantages Clarity, a glossary, diagrams, reputation, subjects covered

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Lack of mathematics (dis-advantage to undergrads), cost, lack of British relevance

    I was quite surprised at the lack of books in this Ciao section. Us undergraduates and postgraduates really need some information on the books available for us to buy. On average we spend £25 per book per term, and on average, we need 4 books a term. To my surprise, this book was the only book I had in my collection. I have the fourth edition of this book, and as you may have guessed, it’s about Macroeconomics.     This book is possibly the best one I have come across in the economics field. In general it is probably fair to say that macroeconomics books are of a better quality than microeconomics ones. Or maybe the subject is just more interesting. Whatever the reason, this book fits the mould for a number of reasons. For a start, it is in full colour throughout. When you spend £30 on a book you don't really want the thing to be staring at you with a grey daunting menace. Especially seen as we are going to be reading this damn tome whilst drinking coffee at midnight, in time for the essay the next ... more
